I moved 2 years ago from Montreal to Toronto, shop around to find a moving company. Very not easy to find , the quotation was looking great but very disappointed at the end they keep adding extra charged from the pick to the end. If you don’t pay the extra they don’t pick up your goods so at the end I have to paid even if it’s was not fair. And to finish I have storage, they could not deliver when I told and I end up to paid an extra months of storage (200 dolla) for the company i will put 1 stars but the guys they hire doing overall a good job and it’s not their fault for the quotation. Very very bad experience do not recommend unless you ok to paid extra that was not originally plan!!!

They were rude when came to house. Damaged our door. Company refused to pay damages. many items were not delivered or were damaged. Boxes had been turned upside down. Overcharge for packing supplies. Left their garbage laying around our yard(tape rolls, wads of tape, plastic.) No attempt made by company to compensate of even apologise. would never recommend this company. quote was half of actual cost. advise future customers to watch them when they weigh in. Can't be trusted

Worst moving company ever. Miss-led us in when the goods would be shipped to B.C. how long it would take to get to destination. Absolute poorest communication, would not listen to our concerns. Several boxes were completely soaked, no explanation as to why. One box never showed up even though very well labeled. Received someone else's box, have sent photos to them no response a week later.

I am a student. I told the agent that i want to use the student discount however they didnot mention in my bill. In the morning i recieved my good. I called them and remind them about that. The agent told me that i have to pay full bill and she is going to transfer money back to me. After that she told me you are not mention this in the email and you can not use this discount. And they donot have any more explanation....

They did not wrap anything, most of my furniture was damaged, my furniture was falling inside the truck when we received it, I sent in pictures of all the damages and they said reimbursement of $75.00 take it or leave it. Dishonest throughout the entire process, about where my furniture was, you can not trust this company. Do not hire them. I am starting to send e-mails to friends, military institutions, anywhere i can, i will be doing this for approx. 1 year or more this is just the beginning. Keeping my promise to them. If the company wants me to stop, reimburse me my money.

my things were also broken. i expected the moving company to wrap dressers/beds but they didn't appear to. the metal on my bed frame is scraped and worn down in many, many places and 4 handles on my grandma's 1940s dresser are cracked off, and not able to be replaced. my other dresser is scraped and my mattress is stained with mud everywhere where the plastic was lifted, pretty much the entire sides of the mattress. my items were also delayed by a couple weeks and we were told their truck broke down in northern ontario. i just wish i had known they were going to crack and scratch my things because i would have wrapped them myself.

Please do not hire this company. They have gone from an A on the BBB to an F for a reason. Sure, there may be a few success stories here and here, but they are overwhelmingly negative. They sound very professional on the phone, but make no mistake, this company has zero tact in the consumer market. We had a horrible experience with them. Very poor communication, several promises to update delivery dates and finally updated 2 days before delivery after nearly two weeks of transit. Liz would go days without responding and would always give me excuses such as "our system is down at the moment" or "we wouldn't know the driver's schedule until they leave" which changed to "we won't know the delivery date until they are 1-2 days into the trip" which then changed to "we won't know until they are a day or so out of Toronto". Just a constant stream of excuses. They left a crate on the weigh scale (how does one do that??) and overcharged us nearly $800 which was corrected eventually. Half of our boxes were destroyed (holes in them with contents falling out) with several furniture items cracked/broken. When the company finally arrived for delivery, they charged us more due to us having stairs. Please, save yourself the grief and go with another company. I expect they will be out of business before too long.

I don't even want to give this company one star!!! Worst experience in my life First they were wrong with a weight!!! And it took them over a month to re weight my stuff which it was over 1000$ difference between the first weight and second one!!! And I'm pretty sure they still give me a wrong weight Second they were a month late, and they don't care if u are sleeping on a floor or anything, they need to fill up their truck to move. At last everything was broken drawer, bar, dining table, chairs, and most of the dishes I don't know how they carry stuff that all the boxes had holes in them And some stuff were missing half of my bed and my other table I called them to complain they said they will send me a form to fill and they will give me some cents per pound !!! I'm not gonna bother myself to fill that form for 20$ and by the way they wants the money before they give u ur stuff bc they know everything is broken or gone At first they told me one bedroom worth of stuff will be 2000 to 3000 when they took they price change to 6000,7000 Be careful with this company Do not go with them

It was really Great for such a low cost, I read all reviews and they were all negative still i took a risk going with Kingsway Van Lines Inc but there service was great. Prompt, Professional and Polite email response from Liz McLean as i asking lot of questions based on previous reviews. On time pickup and drop with loading and unloading service perfect with no issues, Over All a Great service i received and I will recommend to others too, Our move was from Montreal to Toronto

When we decided to move to Burnaby we initially got prices from uhaul and wanted to do it ourselves. Our friend then referred us to an online service and we got a bunch of competitive quotes. The prices were almost the same as the uhaul quote but including the labour and transport so that was a no brainer. We finally decided to move with Kingsway Van Lines based on the great customer service we got over the phone. Liz and David were a pleasure to deal with. The move it self was no different. The packing, loading and offloading was done very professional and the storage options gave us the possibility we needed with renovations we needed for the new house. All Kingsway Van Lines asked from us is the share our experience which I am happy to do. Thank you for the smooth transition!
