We are thrilled with our new deck. Alex, with Pulsar Construction, walked us through the process, completed it on time and on budget. We would highly recommend Pulsar Construction.

At our first meeting with Alex he spent lots of time to explain the deck building process in detail and answered all our questions. He showed us the different decking materials and did laser measurements of deck sight. Alex then e-mailed us different build quotes with pictures of previous builds to help us to visualize what the build would look like. We picked the build and signed a contract with Alex. The deck was built in 5 days. We (wife and I) are very happy with the finished deck. Alex made the deck building process easy to understand.

Pulsar Construction installed a deck attached to the back of our home in late August, 2024. The deck is two steps above an existing concrete slab and is approx. 220 square feet in area. They designed the deck after consulting with us, and they helped us to choose materials. The deck was largely completed in 5 days despite some poor weather; it required just another half-day the next week. Alex is an experienced framer. He laser-leveled the project and built it precisely. He did a beautiful job, particularly in dealing with an access panel to the house crawlspace. There were no charges over the original estimate. We couldn't be happier.

From start to finish, Alex and Pulsar Construction were a pleasure to deal with. As somebody who knew very little about the process of building a deck and the different options, I had many questions and Alex went over everything in detail, and after receiving a few quotes and project proposals from other companies, I felt that Pulsar Construction was the best choice given Alex's ideas and attention to detail when explaining the entire process. Alex finished the deck ahead of schedule, and he was great at communicating his progress everyday with me. He went above and beyond, like making sure that the deck and frame are ready for a patio cover that will come later in the future and making some amendments to the post that is already in place to make sure it is stable. Alex also had a tricky job with the steps as the concrete base was in a very strange slope, but he took the time to make sure that it was done properly. Alex cleaned up at the end of every day, and he made sure that the deck was in pristine condition before he left after the job was completed. I would also say that his pricing is very fair compared to the other quotes I received, especially considering the great care he put into the work.

My wife and I have been looking to rebuild our patio for quite some time now. It was important that we found the right person to undertake this work and when we met with Alex, we felt comfortable. Alex provided us with a no obligation consultation during which he presented several options for the reconstruction of our patio. There was no pressure during this initial meeting and Alex was generous with his time, and answered all of our questions. Our reconstruction was completed on time and on budget. Often wary, it was hard to decide who to work with. Then we met Pulsar project manager who came out in a downpour to listen to our plan, show samples and offer ideas. He knew how to create what we wanted and to make it work with what we had. The Pulsar team is tidy, considerate and nice to work with. Their impeccable craftsmanship and honest work resulted in a beautiful and sturdy deck with stairs. Its now the best part of our house. Thank you Pulsar!

We had Alex come and give us a quote for our deck. He spent a good hour with us talking over all the options. He suggested that we extend our deck by 12 feet with made such an improvement on the overall deck. His work was really detailed and high quality. he came on time and completed the deck in 2 weeks.
