    Back yard deck

    We hired Pulsar Construction to install a ground level deck in our backyard. An old, rotten deck had been removed and revealed a very large footprint with a strange mixture of concrete slab, dirt, and wet, muddy areas -- a real eyesore. In its place, Alex built us a beautiful, spacious, ground-level wooden deck. It is slightly raised, flush with our back door, sits above the damp areas, yet only needs one step down on either side to the rest of the yard. He also built a bench on one end to serve as both railing and seating. We are ecstatic at the change in appearance to our back yard and can't wait to buy furniture and have a BBQ next summer. We were extremely impressed with Alex's workmanship and attention to detail. He remained on-budget and was very easy to deal with. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who wants a quality-built deck.

    Backyard deck replacement

    We knew when we purchased our (first) home that the second floor deck needed to be replaced. While most companies we contacted were unable or unwilling to even provide a quote, Alexander came out almost immediately to take a look. We described what we needed from the project, and also what we "wanted". He told us which of our "wants" could be accomplished and which couldn't, based on our "needs". Many of the things we wanted could be done, but they would either drastically increase the cost, or they would risk the integrity of the deck. Alexander was very honest about the details, even though it was taking money out of his pocket to give that advise. The project itself started on time, and he finished right on schedule, despite the horrible weather he had to deal with for several days. The deck is amazing, and so sturdy. We are absolutely overwhelmed by the quality of craftsmanship - the fine little details that you never think are missing, right until they're added. I fully expect the house to fall down around it long before the deck ever needs any more work.

    Front Deck installation

    Extremely professional and passionate about their work. There was a lot of pride shown in the meticulous details and planning, to the execution and installation of the deck. Great people!!

    Multi level deck

    We love our deck! Alex is a true craftsman and professional. Alex took extra time to hand select the wood and paid attention to all the little details that make such a big difference. The worksite was kept clean and organized even at the end of the day. We would recommend Alex and Pulsar Construction without hesitation.

    Deck Replacement and Extension

    We were fortunate that Alex was able to fit us into his schedule to start and finish our deck so quickly. We wanted to increase the size of our deck and he was very patient and helped us come up with a number of design ideas. He did a great job and worked long hours in one of the hottest weeks of the summer to finish our deck. We're really happy with the work that Alex did and would highly recommend him to anyone.

    DECK STAIRS REPLACEMENT

    We hired Alex to rebuild our patio stairs. He arrived very quickly for an estimate -- during a busy construction time, when other companies we contacted refused to do onsite estimates. He was able to start our project just a week later. The work was completed quickly and efficiently, the end result looks great, and he patiently advised us throughout the project of what he was doing and what further work might be needed in the future. Highly recommended.

    Backyard deck and privacy screen

    Alex is a consummate craftsman, who is proud of his excellent work. He is very reliable, prompt, keeps his commitments and works diligently to provide high quality results.     Deck Replacement

    We needed a full deck replacement and Alexander provided us with a fabulous deck at a very reasonable price. We've got an older house and the previous owner was a DIY'er, so there were quite a few challenges to this deck, and Alexander always made us fully aware and talked us through making the right decision. There were so many improvements he added as part of his original quote. What a professional! Love our new deck, looks great and will stand forever. Thanks Alexander.

    Deck Replacement including pergola and Storage Benches

    We had Alex come out and provide an estimate for a deck replacement including pergola cover. He was knowledgeable and took the time to understand what we wanted. He was also adaptable when we decided to make a few changes. (Added storage benches) His work is not only beautiful but built strong to last. The project came out exactly as quoted and he was very cost conscious providing us with alternative options for cost savings. We are very pleased with our deck and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pulsar Construction. Thanks again!!

    Patio Extension

    Alex was amazing to work with. Extremely professional. Alex took time to help us design the perfect patio deck for our home. His crasftmanship, attention to detail and pride in his work was very evident in the final product. We love our deck. I would highly recommend Pulsar Construction to anyone who is looking to do a home renovation project
