    Deck reno

    I would give Pulsar Construction a 20 rating if I could! We needed to rebuild an old cedar deck and Alex was recommended to me by a close friend who had his deck built by Pulsar Construction and was very satisfied. As soon as I had emailed Alex, he responded and came out to the house the next day to give me a very reasonable quote and drew up a plan right then and there. Alex provided some thoughts on how to save some money by doing some minor design changes or using different materials. Alex showed up on time every morning and built a deck that exceeded our expectations on time and on budget. Now our deck is our favorite living space. Alex is honest, hardworking and a creative person. He restored my faith in contractors. We would highly recommend Pulsar Construction to anyone.

    Deck

    Alex had previously done a small project for me and had found him to be maticulous. This time though the project was much larger and I did meet with a few other contractors to give us estimates/project designs, but it became very clear Alex and his partner were the ones to go with. He really listened to everything we wanted and found a way to incorporate everything into the design although he was a bit higher in what he charges, it shows in his workmanship. He cares about the finished product, Alex and his partner are pros and true craftsman...so hard to find these days. I would recommend Alex and his partner on any project, very highly recommended. Thank you for our beautiful deck!

    Staircase replaced and vinyl deck

    We hired Alex to replace the staircase to our deck in July 2016 and we were very happy with his work. He was very prepared for the job and he was on time. He also provided an accurate and reasonable quote. Three months later, when we decided to replace our vinyl deck, we decided to ask Alex to come back for the job. His worksmanship was again very high-quality. He identify the areas that needed replacements and we felt that it was reasonable and it's not an attempt to talk us into a larger job than necessary. We would be very pleased to consider Alex for another job if there is the occasion.

    Replaced stairs to deck

    Called Alex to get a quote on replacing the flight of stairs to my deck. They were starting to sag. He quoted me me a good price for replacing the stairs and disposing of the junk, but it was conditional on what he found when the stairs were removed. He could see that there was rot on the deck, that was part of the reason for the stairs sagging. The job indeed was more complicated, but Alex seemed to enjoy the challenge. He assessed the rot on the deck, made a plan and let me know what I might need to do later and what needed to be done now. He replaced all the rotted supports and secured the stairs very strongly. He did not charge any more than he quoted for just the stairs. If you want someone you can trust, who is knowledgable and loves a challenge and has high standards for quality and safety, call Alex

    backyard deck

    My sons and I thought fixing up our old wooden deck would be a fun summer project. Well, we did not get far before we needed rescuing and that is exactly what Alex and Mila did. I left a message on their website. Alex came that same day to take a look, gave me a very reasonable estimate and took over. The wood was ordered and arrived the next day and within a week we had a beautiful new deck with a built in bench (Mila's great idea). Alex's attention to detail is outstanding. His workmanship is truly excellent. The two of them arrived every morning at 8:00 and worked hard all day long - some days they were still hard at work after 6:00 pm. We are very happy with our new deck. Thank you, Alex and Mila!

    Stair replacement & Deck repair

    Our back stairs were rotting and our deck required repair so I e-mailed Pulsar Construction and I had a response within 10 minutes and we set up an appointment for the same day. Alex was punctual, friendly and courteous. He took time to assess and explain the work to be done. He gave me the quote and it was a competitive quote. He and his wife were back the next day to get the job started. He arrived at the time he said he would be here with all the required supplies. The stair job was done in a day using excellent quality materials and they returned the next morning to finish installing a strong gate at the top of the stairs to keep our grandkids safe on the deck. He also did a great job on the the small deck repair. They also took away all the rotted wood and cleaned up really well after the job was done. Our stairs are so strong and sturdy and look fantastic! Alex's carpentry skills, quality of work and craftsmanship are excellent and I would highly recommend Pulsar Construction to anyone.

    Deck reno

    Old deck was rotting, they removed the old deck and replaced with all new wood.... Fast, efficient, and on budget!!

    Patio deck off master bedroom suite.

    Outstanding work done in the building of a new patio deck off the master bedroom. Work completed on target, on budget and on time. Alex and his partner were very professional in dealing with us and took extra time and effort to ensure we were fully satisfied with the finished product. We would hire Alex again for any future construction projects and recommend him to others looking for a professional and honest contractor that goes over and beyond with projects he undertakes.     Replace stairs to deck

    We went with Pulsar because their quote was competitive and they were prompt in answering our questions and providing helpful suggestions. Alex takes pride in quality work and the job was well done. In addition, he didn't charge us for the extra work required to replace a beam in the deck that had rotted. We are very happy with the new stairs.

    Porch and stair replacement

    After being messed around by numerous contractors, I found Pulsar Construction. They were prompt, professional and extremely honest and courteous. I cannot fault their workmanship and would have no hesitation recommending them. I am one happy customer. Keep up the great work you do.
