We recently had our basement developed through the Basement Builders and they made the whole process so simple for our family! They came to the home to discuss plans and what our wants/ need were; and they got the quote back to us right away. Once everything was chosen we were able to get started almost right away! The project was estimated right around 10 weeks and everything moved along very nicely. We are in a walkout as well, so it was great being able to have the workers go in and out directly through the basement. We did walk-through at regular intervals during the project to make sure everything was going smoothly. The project was completed a bit ahead of schedule- even during all the chaos of covid! Everything looked so good! It was so nice to see the space transformed into a place we finally want to spend time in! There were a few minor deficiencies that needed to be taken care of- and this is what really made this company stand out for me, as we have been left high and dry by contractors before. The owner personally saw to all of our concerns and quickly arranged having the appropriate trades back and got things wrapped up right away! We are so pleased with our new basement!

I was so lucky to have chosen the right company to build my garage, from beginning to end it was an excellent experience. From the initial consultation right through to the completion the team were all so accommodating and professional. Customer satisfaction is highly valued by this company, emails are responded to very quickly there was never a time when they kept me waiting. The materials used were of a high quality from the wood used down to the door knob and bolt. The subcontractors who worked on my garage were hard working professionals I was confident right from the beginning that the garage was going to be built to the highest standards. Naturally as with anything a few minor concerns were identified but they were handled quickly, efficiently and professionally. I can’t thank them enough and would definitely use their services again!

We looked at 4 different companies for the job and no one came to the table like the Basement Builders Team. I was first impressed with their technology (they have invested in their brand and it shows). From iPads to laser precision measurements to concept design I could see immediately through the quote process. They have a slick contracting platform which gives precise costing and change order options for you to select on your own (no paper napkin math or scrap papers used). Which provided confidence in the expected price, no surprises. The framers came in with one of the owners (Ben) and chalked the outline. Right away we could tell things were going to be tight. So with some discussions, suggestions and real time modifications, we had the shell of the basement laid out and it turned out better than I expected. The basement is about 650sqft. So we didn’t have a large footprint. But it turned out incredible with the suggestions. Sub contractors were top notch. Frequent check ins and when we noticed minor things, they were addressed right away. They even suggested ways to save money through a little sweat equity, which was appreciated. All in all, we are excited about our new space. On time. On budget. Professional through and through. Highly recommend this team with what is most people’s largest asset.

Basement builders came in and within hours we had our drawings, picked all finishing items and quote. Everything was easy to do and submitted online. We had to attend 3 other appointments for things we wanted but it was all set up and seamless. I have no complaints about anything. The whole project took about 3 months. The contractors were respectful and courteous and didn’t bother us at all. This was truly a seamless process from start to finish. Mat, Don and crew were easy to get a hold of if needed and dealt with all our questions throughout the process. I highly recommend this company. You pay for quality and this company is definitely quality.

My wife and I interviewed 4 different basement renovation companies before deciding to proceed with Basement Builders. Our basement renovation project was completed the on time (10 weeks form start to finish) and we genuinely believe we made the best possible choice. We got our dream basement exactly to our specifications for a very reasonable price, with no cost overruns/unforeseen additional costs, built with excellent workmanship and great attention to detail. The sub-trades are respectful of our space and good about keeping the worksite clean. The Basement Builders' owners are quite involved throughout all stages of the project (concept, costing, sub-trade oversight, final walk through) which gave us piece of mind. I would definitely recommend Basement Builders!

We were hesitant to develop the basement due to 8 tele-posts. Couldn’t conceptualize how to develop! Mathew, Don and Ben were able to come up with a design that worked. Trades were awesome! Finished on time and on budget! Thanks guys for the great work!

I wish I could give Matthew, Ben and Don a 100 Star Rating. My experience with Basement Builders was flawless from the moment I called and spoke to Matthew, through to final inspection with Ben. The exceptional advice started when I first spoke to Matthew about the project where he reinforced their commitment using quality materials right down to the light switches, and went on to explain the nuances of a Mortgage Plus Improvements and how Basement Builders was uniquely positioned to support this. It continued with Don and Ben providing some perfect advice on how to design and layout the floor plan; Don was able to show me on an iPad what the floor plan looked like and made some fantastic suggestions to maximize the developed space while being sensitive to our budget. The quality of workmanship from every single trade was impeccable. I cannot say enough about how satisfied we are! If you don't choose these gentlemen for your project, you are doing yourself a disservice - it's really as simple as that!

If you are thinking of a basement developer then look no further. This whole experience with the basement builders from initial consultation to final completion has been nothing but exceptional. The guys Matt, Ben, Don, Ryan and Chris are so great to deal with. From the planning and budget stage right through to completion I have had the best experience with a major Renovation than I ever thought possible. On budget on time and absolutely incredible attention to detail and a final product that I was so very pleased with. All of the tradesmen involved were kind clean and courteous. The quality is second to none as all tradespeople were excellent and professional at their specific task. They treat your home like it is their own..and always take great care to keep the workspace clean and tidy. Basically I really can’t say enough about this company they are easy to communicate with and helpful and make sure you are happy...not sure how you couldn’t be as I said before the quality of the work they put in is in a class of its own. You need a basement there should be only one place to go “Basement builders” you will not be disappointed! 10 out of 10 Thanks guys Gareth
