Plumbing and drains.
From the moment I met Sergey and his guys ,I knew I had the right company for the job. They were patient and explained every detail of the process required to complete the work. My family lived in the house while the work was being done, and we were able to use all the plumbing like any normal day. Had a sump pump and backwater valve installed, some waterproofing, and got converted from septic to city sewer. My family and I would definitely recommend you to all our family and friends. Thanks for giving us the peace of mind that the job was done properly.

Sump pump & back water valve installations; old clay sewer line pipe-burst replacement; clean-out outlet set-up at the property line; shower flow tap's cartridge replacement
Tornado Plumbing is easily the BEST plumbing company in GTA. They have done such major jobs for us as sewer drain replacement, back water valve installation and sump pump installation. These jobs require a lot of digging; however, our house was left almost ideally clean at the end of each day. All work was done according to the highest professional standards, and our interests as clients were always given a priority. Unlike other companies who were telling us our driveway had to be excavated, Tornado Plumbing was able to keep our driveway intact. Only a small hole at the property line on the front lawn had to be dug, and pipe burst technology was used on an old clay pipe. The price we paid was moderate compared to other quotes we had. Our rebate options were explained to us in full detail, and the paperwork was completed immediately. Serhyi and his crew approached this project very thoroughly and managed to complete this difficult job (plus the required inspection) in 3.5 working days. The end result was of high quality and well worth the money spent. I would recommend Tornado Plumbing & Drain team to anyone without any hesitation whatsoever.

Back-Water, Sump Pump and Main Water Line- Money Well Spent
Serihy and his crew from Tornado Plumbing & Drain really set the bar in terms of providing an educational, efficient, clean and somewhat enjoyable experience. I had very minor water issues in the basement in the past but since it is finished I thought I wouldn't take a chance and decided to do some preventative maintenance. I called Serihy based in his reviews (and great to see pictures as proof) to inspect my almost 100yrs old clay pipe and then give me some insight on what could be done and possible discoveries we could encounter along the way (original LEAD pipe from house to city water line). He was very detailed in explaining how things work, how the crew would work, collaboration with gas line marker personnel and final city water inspector. I have to say that the only delay was out of his control (gas markings) and he was communicative throughout- and at no time was there pressure to make a decision (which I think I valued the most). The crew prepped the house accordingly to avoid excess dirt and dust from travelling throughout the house. They worked consistently and didn't linger making phone calls or lollygagging in any way. They were all polite and wouldn't even accept bottled water. I would say for a 'dirty' job- this was the one of the best clean-cut contractor experiences of my life. Many neighbours stopped by to know if everything was ok and I was already recommending them during the chit-chat. If you value experience, communication, cleanliness and paying a fair price then please consider calling Serihy and Tornado Plumbing & Drain.

Also we protested by back water valve on the sewer drain (a few years ago A lot of people on your street got the flood) it's will not happen again. Sump pump help to collect underground water or moisture on the floor is not going to be!!!! 25 years of the warranty!!!!! Cleared grease blocked drains
These guys were great; confident, professional, knowlegable, friendly, and they have specialized equipment. My kitchen sink had been slow and I had a Different plumber come, when they tried to fix it they made it worse. they told me the drain pipes would need to be replaced. Tornado came and snaked, camera'd and power washed my drains to the front yard. Explained and showed me everything. Cleaned up. Worth every penny.

External Waterproofing/Sump Pump Install
My basement started flooding and water was coming in from the front of the house. I had contacted many companies but all of them had a long wait time before someone was able to start the job. Tornado called to get a gas locate on Thursday, gas locate was done on Saturday, and Tornado started on the Monday. The last few days were heavy rain and I am glad I called Tornado to get everything fixed quickly. No more wet basement. While they were here, I also got them to install a sump pump while they were here and a few extra plumbing items for the laundry room. Great work by Serhiy and his team and I will definitely call them back once I am ready to waterproof the last side of the house.

Clearing Main Drain
They were professional and timely. They arrived within an hour after I called them on a Saturday morning. The technician snaked the main drain and cleaned up all the mess.

Leak in Main Water Service
I called a couple of plumbers to help investigate a water leak in our main water line. Sergey at Tornado Plumbing was the most attentive and the only contractor that actually came to our place to look at the issue. All other contractors simply recommended replacing the water main and provided a quote using Google Maps and did not show up at the house at all. Sergey provided me with the option to fix the leak which was located just below the slab in the basement, but his recommendation was to replace our side of the water main as it was old lead pipe. Once our side was completed I could notify the city and they would schedule a time to replace the city side using a city contractor. We had some water damage in our basement because of the leak so Sergey scheduled a team to arrive within 24 hours after signing the project estimate. The team that arrived were excellent. They needed to do a little discovery to find the main water line in our front property as the location marking wasn't exact. They didn't get discouraged and found the old lead pipe and completed the work by torpedoing a new ¾" copper line from inside the house. The leak had created a lot of water under the basement slab which made the work a little difficult but the team worked in to the evening to make sure everything was complete, holes filled back in, new concrete poured, and to be sure the water in the house was working as expected. Everything was cleaned up perfectly and Sergey followed up on the work within a couple of days when he was back in the area to provide another estimate. Overall the experience with Tornado Plumbing was excellent. We need to install a sump pump (Sergey's recommendation) and replace our basement slab in the future – I'll definitely be calling Sergey at Tornado Plumbing.

Basement concrete floor.
I had Tornado Plumbing pour my new concrete basement floor. They did a great job and were able to get the job done in one day. The removal of the old floor and preparation was done by another company. Thanks Serhiy!

FOUNDATION/FOOTING
I have a 100 year old semi-detached house. The corner of the house is sinking along with the concrete walkway. I contacted several contractors because I will be hiring someone I can trust.....and is flexible.....and because there is no way to determine the final cost or remedy until excavation. I had a contractor who said nothing to one who said I only needed to replace the walkway. Sergey displayed patience. We spent half an hour discussing possibilities. On excavation we find there is no footing. There is a large rock embedded in the foundation. The engineer's plan, which would have cost $36,000, was abridged at my request. If further work is needed I will be calling Sergey.

Clogged Drain
Sierge from Tornado Plumbing is knowledgeable and meticulous about his work. He was quickly able to open a clogged drain and also identified the root cause of the problem. I highly recommend using his services.
