Basement Renovation: internal waterproofing, sump pump, back water valve, sanitary line,
Serhiy and his team are polite, courteous, and reliable. We were very pleased with their work as it was efficient, tidy and accommodating. We are undergoing a basement renovation that included a new drainage system, sump pump/back water valve installation, waterproofing, and new concrete slab. Any revisions made to the schedule were accommodated without question. Serhiy provided some good suggestions. His team was fantastic. Serhiy is also willing to do heavy lifting. You can see the team respects him, as he is not afraid of hard work. He is involved in the project and leads by example. He also helps coordinating the schedule by communicating his needs. We were very impressed. I would highly recommend Tornado Plumbing and Drains.

Kitchen hookup after reno
I needed to have my sink and dishwasher hooked up after I had my kitchen renovated. The Tornado team was very accommodating schedule-wise. Good communication, very professional, left the kitchen clean when the job was completed. Thanks!

Tree roots in sewer pipes
We had a very positive experience with Tornado Plumbing today. We had an emergency with the drain pipe blockage in our old bungalow in North York. Sergey came the next morning and fixed the problem which appeared to be the tree roots growing into the old clay drainage pipe just outside of our house. He was very patient, polite and super skilled and it was a pleasure dealing with him while he explained the work he was performing in very professional manner and with positive attitude. The price was very reasonable too and the next possible steps have been outlined very clearly. I think we have found our plumbing company to deal with all our needs in a future and I would definitely recommend Tornado Plumbing for any plumbing projects.

Sewer back up
The team was professional, prompt and thorough all the way through. I called them Sunday night as an emergency and they came immediately and stayed until they resolved the issue. They took me through their work so I was comfortable with what was done and took the time to ensure the work area was cleaned before they left. I appreciate their explanation, their thoroughness, their honesty and the care they took in my home. Highly recommend.

basement plumbing and cement floor
simply put they were great! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Very professional, my basement looks great, they dug it out, did the plumbing, and made new floor level with old floor. Couldn't have done a better job :)

Plumbing work at Park Lawn

Sewage line replacement and installation of back water valve
I am very satisfied with the professionalism and workmanship provided by Tornado plumbing. We had a sewer pipe back up and I called Tornado after seeing their reviews on Home Stars. Tornado had someone at my house within the hour and showed me the underlying issue, roots in the sewer line. Sergey provided me with clear options with no pressure. In the end he snaked the pipes to remove the immediate blockage and we went ahead to replace the existing clay pipes with plastic from the house to the property line and installed a back water valve. The Tornado crew was very professional. They used tarps on the driveway and floors to hold the dirt and even swept the grass to keep the dirt on the tarps. There were a few unexpected pipe connections that were required and Tornado replaced them with no increase in cost to the job. They were very diligent to show me all work before and after and were very patient to answer any questions. All in all the job took 3 days and by the end you would never know any work was done at the house as it was so clean. Very satisfied with the work and will definitely use Tornado again for any plumbing needs.

Full replacement of main drain system
After having a small sewage backup in our basement, we had a few plumbers in to quote the job and went with Sergey from Tornado plumbing. Sergey arrived on time and was very professional...he spent the time needed to camera scope our 100 year old drains from multiple cleanout points to ensure he had a full picture of the problems and what work was needed to resolve them. In the end, we had to dig up and replace all drain pipes in the basement, and all drains underground running out to the city pipes (they were separated...collapsing...massive roots, etc). They used a pipe burst technique so we only had 2 small holes in our yard/driveway from the work. The Tornado team arrived at the time and date we had agreed to and the work was carried out quickly and efficiently as planned. Tornado's pricing was very competitive as I certainly received a few higher quotes for the exact same job. They even ran into one unexpected issue where they had some unplanned excavation and pipe replacement, but the invoice was still exactly to the penny of what they originally quoted. Sergey also took care of permits and inspections with the city and prepared the paperwork to claim my rebate for the backwater valve. Very satisfied...I would use them again for future plumbing needs and have already referred them to a neighbour who needs the exact same work completed. I strongly recommend Sergey/Tornado plumbing...they were one of the best experiences I have ever had with a trade.

Back water valve installation
The installation went smooth and without issues. The workplace was kept tidy at the end of the day. Sergei is very knowledgeable and he was very helpful.

Main drain
Once again I'm impressed with Tornado Plumbing. They were efficient, professional and very clean. We had a small but dirty job done in one day. Straight forward with no additional 'surprise' costs.
