Solar system needed maintenance and repairs. Squirrels had caused damage. Gopal of Herc de Soleil and his assistant showed up on time. Repairs were completed as promised and on budget. I recommend this company. The system is working properly now. He also took the time to explain how the system works.

He checked the panels for leaking at existing connections and corrected the leak. He was very professional. He was well organized when removing the panels. He even suggested a way of installing the existing system for a higher producing rate of energy. Just a fantastic company .

I had problems with my first gen micro-inverters and am so glad that I found Gopal and his team from Herc Du Soleil. He is knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating with our schedule. As a true professional and working with someone on a budget, he was open and upfront about steps that I could take in advance to stay within our means. The 50+ panels were removed, inverters replaced and panels reinstalled. It sounds simple but Gopal's extensive knowledge of optimizing the system, improving on the original install and work ethic is why I am writing this glowing review. I have no hesitation in recommending him and have already done more times than I can remember.

I had a pleasant experience from the beginning to the end with Herc du Soleil and Gopal. He's a knowledgeable and calm professional who answered all questions I had with a smile. He did his best to do a great job on all parts of the system and he did put up with my requirement to route the cables from the inside of the house (since it's a town house and I didn't want to see any cables going all the way up to the roof in the front). He went above and beyond to give me a detailed quote of what's going to be done and in the end it was all as he described it. Very happy with the install.

Gopal and his team were very responsive throughout the entire process. It was very easy to communicate with them to set dates for them to remove AND re-install the panels. Would gladly recommend Herc Du Soleil to anyone!!

Gopal was professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. He uninstalled and reinstalled my solar panels quickly and efficiently, and even made some improvements from the original install. He fought for me as a consumer to ensure I was getting the most out of my system. Highly recommended!

Gopal is the consummate professional - knowledgeable, reliable, efficient and an altogether really nice person. I'm very happy with the job done on my roof which involved removing the panels (so the roof could be reshingled), upgrading the inverters and then replacing the panels. It was an absolute pleasure working with Gopal. After years of considering going solar, we finally bit the bullet and went for it. Our solar journey started with receiving a few quotes from a few other solar installers, all of which completed the system design and quoting process solely based on Google Earth imagery. This led to multiple designs iterations, uncertainty as to which ones would actually work based on placements of roof vents, chimneys etc. Gopal took the time during the quoting process to do a site visit, take proper roof measurements, and provided a compelling design and project plan. Throughout the process, and even now that the system is complete, Gopal was extremely responsive, always willing to answer any questions we had and did a great job educating us about our solar system and solar systems in general. During the system design phase, we were a bit nervous about the aesthetics of the system and what it would look like once installed on our roof. Gopal had lots of pictures from previous jobs that really helped show us what the finished product would look like. While the panels themselves are black with black framing, the rails in which the panels are mounted on are silver in colour. Gopal went the extra mile to ensure all exposed rails were painted black, which really makes the system blend well with the roof. We ended up installing a 10.7KW system with 35 CanadianSolar 305W monocrystalline panels, power optimizers and a 7.6K SolarEdge inverter. We could not be any happier with the system and its production capabilities. The monitoring tool that SolarEdge provides (which comes free with the system) is awesome, especially for those who love data. It lets you see production of the system in real time and even drill down to the individual panel level to see what’s happening…really cool stuff. Overall, we could not be happier, Gopal and his team did an amazing job and we would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking at going solar.

Needed panels removed and reinstalled because I needed a new roof. Work was done over a few weeks due to poor weather but when it was done everything worked as well as new.
