Colin was excellent!! I showed him what I needed to have done (move an existing receptacle, confirm wiring behind a wall was not live, upgraded dimmers to the correct kind, troubleshoot why outlets on my deck weren't working, and fix them - "new to me" house, and I didn't know what was what). Colin gave me a very reasonable quote, and set to work. He fixed everything, upgrading some outdoor receptacles for me as well, to ensure that all was to code, and gave me a master switch to shut off all of the outside electrical at once - very handy!! The bill came, and it was exactly what he quoted - Colin is now my "go to" for all electrical!!!!

Colin was absolutely amazing! He was so professional and honest. Everyday he told us exactly what was going on, what was wrong and how he was going to follow through with fixing our problem. We could not have asked for a better tradesman.

Colin was quick to respond to our job request. He installed two light fixtures, upgraded a switch, and fixed an incorrectly installed switched that had been driving me crazy for too long. One of my detectors (very old model) started beeping in the middle of the night and would not stop, unless we turned off the house electrical power. I contacted CM Electrical after reading reviews at Home Stars. Colin was very understanding of my situation and re-arranged his schedule so to be here that same afternoon. He replaced all the detectors in the house, plus did some additional work I asked him to do. He followed up with a phone call later in the week to check if everything was working ok. I am very happy with his professional attitude and for his services. I will not hesitate to contact him again for any of my future electrical projects.

Stop Looking for an electrician-just use this company. I've had multiple electrical jobs done from full home renovation to installing a 220 volt outlet for my husband's hobby band saw. Colin of CM Electrical is by far the best service provider I have ever contracted. He's professional, very knowledgeable, ensures safety and code adherence- all items you'd expect from any electrician. But, that's where Colin starts to differentiate his service: he not only complies with all basic requirements but he does so in an impeccable manner. He's friendly but fast and efficient, he cleans up to the point the area looks better then when he started, he communicates every concern precisely and follows up with all issues with a focus on best price and quality as well as how long every step will take and what you can expect. If you want changes, he's flexible. His pricing is very reasonable and competitive. He's just great- such a relief.

I can not say enough good things about the work Colin did as CM Electrical, found CM Electrical on Home Stars I called and Colin answered the phone proceed described the issue and possible hazard. Colin listed explained what he would need to do at the very minimum to correct the issue and quoted me a very reasonable rate. When he came over to to fix the issue the first thing he did after introducing himself was to handed me a business card and pointed out his Electrical license number on the back and that's when I knew I was dealing with a professional, he put indoor boot covers over his boots when he entered the house, looked at the wiring issue, spent the time to fix it correctly, tested the new light fixture double checked the repair he made to correct the electrical short with the wiring tied up when he was satisfied that his repair was perfect and repaired a small wiring fault/replaced an existing light switch he was not happy with at no extra charge. In short Colin from CM Electrical is a gem of a master licensed electrician.

I called Colin to install an EV charger for a Chevy Volt. From estimate to completion Colin was in our home 3 times. He takes a great deal of pride in doing the job right. He is meticulous both with safety and the appearance of his work. He is also a really genuine person, polite and professional. We are very happy with the work he did for us and do not hesitate to recommend CM Electrical to others!
