After moving to our new home, my wife and I hired Colin and his apprentice Rob to run a light in our living room, figure out what was happening with a few switches that were not working and to run wiring and install plugs in our storage room for a mini fridge and a freezer. Their work was impeccable; Colin provided a clear estimate before starting the job and offered to arrange for a city approved inspector to verify the job after its completion. Colin and Rob were very professional, came to our home at the arranged time and kept work areas clean and tidy. Along the way Colin identified several issues starting with breakers that were not appropriately positioned as well as a few other problems that could have potentially caused a fire. Colin and Rob went above and beyond our expectations testing the entire home electrical wiring as well as providing education and replacing old hardware. We are very satisfied with the service we received and would highly recommend CM Electrical to our friends and family.

They assessed that my dishwasher was not installed correctly and did not meet the electrical safety code. They identified the dedicated 15 Amps line servicing the dishwasher, made repairs and reconnected the unit. They ensured that all the connections were contained in the connector box using an approved bushing connector. They also installed a GFCI receptacle.

Colin was wonderful to deal with. His work is of an extremely superior quality and his attention to detail is absolutely exceptional. We will be using him again as needed. Colin was a pleasure to work with. He is a perfectionist which you want. He came the day before the job and mapped out a plan. He organized hydro, inspectors and everyone needed for the job? He added a plug outddors so my husband could use his computer and did some troubleshooting needed in the house. Exceptional work. Highly recommend!!!!
