This is the best moving experience ever. Normally I don't leave reviews but had to this time. When all my friends bailed on me to help me move I scrambled to find someone and so glad I found Metropolitan movers. They were friendly asked all the right questions (some of them were things Inever thought of) and gave me a quote way below what others wanted to charge The movers came on time and made sure the move went well. They took care of my things and did it in record time. Normally when I've moved from one apartment to another it took ALL DAY. Not these guys, even with a much deserved break I was in my brand new house and unpacking by dinner Thanks guys

I recently had to make a last minute move, much to my dismay. I don’t think anyone enjoys moving, but this was an especially stressful situation, since I had little time to get myself and my stuff together. Thanks to you guys, my stress level seemed to ease out, since you guys took the time to listen to my woes, with a smile (a couple of down to earth jokes too!), and pack up and move my stuff with little problem. It wasn’t easy to get my old heavy couch out of the apartment and the wall got ‘smucked’ a bit by one of the legs, but stuff like this happens. I made sure that you guys didn’t feel rushed and your extra care & attention to my stuff got my things and me to where we needed to go, safe & sound. Thank you very much for the hard work and service - I wouldn’t have made it out of that apartment without you. Recommended to those in need of a very good moving service at a reasonable cost.

I subscribed service from Metropolitan Movers to move my belongings from a two bed room apartment to a town house. The distance between two places is 40kms. Few points I would like make here: 1. Metropolitan Movers do not maintain appointment time. The moving crews came more than an hour late at my apartment. 2. The moving crews are not professional. First half an hour they were simply wondering around and planning to move 2 beds, a set of sofa and 2 desks. One gentleman was not even sure whether he had tools to disassemble the furniture. Fortunately I had my own tools and basically I ended up working with them to disassemble the furniture. All it tells, their service will take longer hours to complete and remember, it is $69/hr+HST. 3. They do not honor their words. To get your business they will promise many things, but at the end they will not honor those. In my case, they promised me that I do not have to pay for the travel time. They made me pay for it at last. The moving crews are not Metropolitan Movers employees. They work for some other goons that you barely have any clue (you wouldn't know that company's/ entity's name). They do not speak in English either. The whole scenario is so skeptical. Arguing with the crews or their boss was completely futile. I tried to call Metropolitan Movers so many times, but no one answered my phone call. I had to pay the travel time, no matter what. I called Metropolitan Movers later as well, but in vain. 4. At the time you need to talk to them the most, calling to Metropolitan Movers does NOT work. You call their 1-888 number and as an existing customer when you press 2, they will never pick up your call. They make note of your phone number and later even if you press 1 (as if you want to place a new order) they will still do not answer your phone call. The automated system then asks you to leave a voice message. I left number of voice messages, but they never called me back. 5. Bad, evil service. They left one of the legs broken of my work desk. They are slow and inefficient. They will only make you pay more since it is $69/hr+HST. I will never subscribe service from Metropolitan Movers. Thanks.

So glad I chose this company for my move! I had one negative experience in the past with another moving company, so I was a bit nervous to move again. It was a relief when I met the crew. They were friendly and did a professional job! Everything arrived safe and sound :)

I've used Metropolitan Movers twice now for moves. First Move was moving from Toronto to a storage unit in Vaughan. This was a fairly easy move since no stairs at my old place and we were involved and it was a drive-up storage unit. The staff came a few minutes early and finished moving my 1 bedroom apartment in less than 3 hours. They worked hard with care The second lift and move was a bit more difficult. We were moving from a townhouse to a lowrise condo to Vaughan. And the first stop was on a narrow, trafficky block in High Park. Again, handled with no problems at all. Management did the quotes and was very responsive to my emails. Highly Recommend These Guys!!

The representative I spoke with had extremely detailed responses before the move. I had all the info i needed in preparation for the big move. When the actual movers arrived they started by rapping everything up to prevent damages to the walls or the furniture and they were great with my kids. They then moved all of my furniture in about 3 hours. I am so glad I used Metropolitan Movers for my first move, they were extremely fast and kind. The whole move took about 12 hours including the driving time. I was very satisfied with there service.

These guys were very polite, on time, efficient and no mishaps. They made the entire process super easy for us so we had an overall smooth experience with no typical nightmares associated with moving. The logistics & scheduling was pin point, and I felt like it was a breeze to discuss our needs, sign the deal and get started with the move. Their price was very reasonable too. Even my dad was very impressed, which says a lot!

Moving a large bedroom stuff to 4th floor has been done easily with Metropolitan Movers. I was so amazed and the fact that we have lots of thing to move, guys was so hardwroking and never get tired of handling our furniture going up.
