Phong was awesome to work with. Communicated clearly. Was upfront about price work and timing. And he delivered. I would totally recommend.

Phong & team are responsive, courteous and reliable and go above and beyond, at competitive prices. Phong responded first to my inquiry, came out quickly, identified additional repointing requirements and provided a quote on par with others, except that it included the additional work. He was communicative and offered to come earlier than planned when he had a cancellation. He & team were concerned about clearing the work space so as not to inadvertantly cause damage, cleaned the area afterwards and they even repaired damanged bricks on my retaining wall with leftover cement without asking. They noticed the stones were loose and repaired them because they still had cement. This is a business that's run with pride and initiative. I hope my review leads others to engage it.

Phong and his company were great to deal with. He replaced about 200 crumbling water-damaged bricks in a few areas around the outside of our home, and even though it wasn't part of the initial estimate they parged a few other areas where the mortar was receding. He was extremely professional, honest, and thorough. When we discovered some other grade-level bricks that needed replacing with a stone sill he worked with us to do the additional work without stretching our budget too much. They worked late to finish up the work on the last day and Phong came back the next morning to double-check nothing was missed in the dark. I highly recommend Brick Aid Masonry.

Great company to deal with and Phong is a stand up guy. He went above and beyond my original scope of work and was kind enough to fix the little things that he saw needed repairs, all without asking to charge more! Would not hesitate to recommend him.

Brick Aid Masonry did work for me a year ago which included enlarging and blocking windows, installing lintels and sills, toothing and tuck pointing and brick repair. I needed to replace the deteriorating bricks in the front of my house. I was also considering covering my concrete front step with tile and Phong suggested stone instead which was an excellent recommendation! Although the work was extensive, his quote was very competitive. As the work progressed, Phong saw additional issues and voluntarily did the extra work without additional charges. I was also very impressed as to how quickly he responded to messages. It was a pleasure to work with Phong. He is very professional and hard working. I contacted Brick Aid Masonry for a quote to brick up a window at my home. Phong from Brick Aid came to provide a quote, he was professional, polite and was detailed as to what the project would involve. Phong and Van from Brick Aid Masonry showed up exactly at the time we had set for the project date and went right to work. They kept the area neat and clean and when they encountered an issue with the top layer of brick near my soffit they went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the finish and that the job was done right. The final product was seamless and you can’t tell where my original brick and new brick meet - amazing work. The communication provided by Phong before, during and after the project was always quick, polite and professional. Phong and his coworker were incredibly professional and meticulous to their craft. They fixed the bricks that not only needed to be repaired but also those that would cause potential problems in the future. They also took the time to patch a small bit of parging that was not part of the quote job. They were very mindful of our gardens and they even went so far as to appease our neighbour who was inconvenienced by the work being done on our home. Not only did Phong do a great job on the brick replacement and tuckpoint repair, but he would point out and fix other things he noticed. He showed up when he said he would and charged us what he quoted. Would definitely recommend him.
