    BEWARE!! THIS COMPANY IS A CON BIG TIME!

    BEWARE!! THIS COMPANY IS A CON BIG TIME! We applied for the free nest smoke/carbon with simply smart homes (this is how they gain access to your home to sell you things). We also applied with green Ontario for the free Nest product thermostat which was easy. They didn’t try to sell anything, and gave us great advice to make our home more energy efficient. So we decided to opt for the Simply Smart Home Free Nest. HUGE mistake! The sale rep Majid doesn’t take no for answer he was at the house for over 2 hours trying to sell the water purification system/water heater. He put something in the water heater and told us it was really bad and needed to change. He also wanted to test the water to show us how good the water is but didn’t have the proper equipment (that should have been a sign) the reps are well trained to con people. Customers comment on how nice the house is and how young my father looks etc. The rep continued to persuade my elderly father into taking the product although he didn’t have much knowledge about the water system. The rep. Confirmed to my father several times that they have a free 10 trail no questions asked though consumers protection act. If you’re not happy just call and cancel you have nothing to lose. My father opted to try the 10 days trail to see if there was a difference in their product compared to what he had. Majid advised several times if he doesn’t like it he can cancel no questions asked. We emailed our cancellation letter before the 10 day period was over and received confirmation of the email sent. It has now been a month and hell dealing with Eva the so called manager who is arrogant and so rude you can’t get a word in with her. Like Majid stated in the contract no questions asked. Eva is now stating we pay must 500.00 plus tax for the water heater and won’t pick up the water puricatation system until we give her a credit card payment. Even though we did cancel within the 10 day free trial. I spoke with Consumers Protection who advised me that they cannot charge me if I cancelled within the designated time frame. This is still an ongoing matter. I have emailed simply homes to speak to someone above Eva and still haven’t been contacted by anyone from your Company. If you haven’t already received you free Nest promotion BEWARE. Don’t sign up with anything with this company, they are huge CON and will get a lot of elderly people with this 10 day trial to sign up. They will do anything to make a sell and if you want to cancel it becomes a HUGE problem!

    Really helpful installing Nest Protect

    Kai from Simply Smart Home was great. He came in, walked through our house and noted any areas that may be a concern. Then reviewed the new Nest Protect and made sure that we understood the features and the way everything works. He also made sure to take some time to explain basic fire safety to our kids and what to do if they hear the fire alarm. I'd highly recommend both Kai and Simply Smart Home.

    Water heater nest hello and nest protect

    Devraj was an absolute delight. He was very informative and answered all our questions and concerns. He was extremely helpful and was very patient. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family.

    Furnace and smart home

    Devraj was very helpful walking us through options on how we can upgrade the efficiency of our home without being pushy (I did not get any pushiness at all) . The part I really appreciate from him was breaking down the cost benefit. There was no fear mongering which I hate from sales people. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend dealing with Devraj again. Thanks Devraj!

    Smart home

    Devraj came by my house talked about fire safety with me and my family. My whole house now has a interconnected nest protect on every floor. Installation was very professional would definitely recommend Devraj and Simply Smart home for home services and smart home solutions.

    Product and Service - Nest

    Kai and his associate provided me a wealth of information so I could make informed decisions. I must say, Kai is an absolutely asset to this company and the brand as a whole. Stellar company, great value and I would strongly recommend you request Kai as your representative if you want the absolute BEST experience ever.

    Nest Protect - Smart Home

    Liby was very professional, smart and helped us understand how to better protect the house from any potential safety issues. He helped us think through better ways to improve warning systems and was great in giving us options. A wealth of information, great to have had a morning to chat with Liby

    Water heater install & maintenance service sign up

    Liby hooked me up huge with a new water heater. Also switched over my maintenance plan from Reliance (furnace & AC) and at a lower price than I had before. He added on plumbing and electrical maintenance as well for only a couple dollars more than I was paying before. He also got me a set of 3 Nest smoke/CO detectors on top of it all. Didn't have to lift a finger! 2 weeks after I signed up, needed a plumber and the plan came through big time. Love it! Highly recommended!

    Hot water tank and security camera

    I had Simply Smart Home install a new hot water tank and a Nest outdoor security camera. James walked us through all the steps and was very professional. The job was clean and efficient. Thank you guys so much :)
