    Descaling of tankless water heater.

    After a long time of neglect my tank less water heater started to become quite loud and I figured it's due for a descaling and general maintenance/check up the team at Grizzly plumbing was great from start to finish. Quick to set up the appointment on a day that's convenient for me. Calvin came out with the solution and cleaned out the debris from the various parts of the tank less heater and I can honestly hear the difference now as its much quieter. Thanks Grizzly Plumbing !

    Various Plumbing issues around the house

    We had a few issues to be dealt with, including leaking faucets, misaligned faucet and taps, leaking shower head and wand. Calvin arrived promptly on time and readily addressed all the issues. For the leaking wand and shower head he was frank with us just needing to buy replacements rather any “fix” he could make. For the leaking and misaligned faucets, he had other team members come by to assist and bring replacement parts so they could be fixed quickly. He was very polite and wore his shoe covers in the house. Would definitely recommend them and use them again.

    Fast fix of leaky pipe

    After a very pleasant conversation with Kyle on Monday, an appointment was made for Calvin to come by on Wednesday between noon and 2 pm. Calvin arrived shortly after noon, looked everything over, fixed the leaky pipe and helped with a stuck valve and was gone before 2 p.m. Both Kyle and Calvin were pleasant and cheerful and very helpful!

    New Combination Boiler Installation

    I am an Architect based in Toronto and contacted Grizzly to install a new combination boiler (Navien 240E) based on their excellent Homestars ratings. Grizzly was one of four contractors who we spoke with and received estimates from and they were ultimately selected based on their responsiveness, honesty and knowledge about the project. The owners of Grizzly are the people who come for the initial visit and estimate and also the ones who install the equipment so was never any miscommunication. Since Grizzly was working on the heating system we also had them replace all of the piping in the basement, that ran below the joists, with new piping. The new piping provided a dedicated supply and return to each rad in the house and all tied back into a manifold new to the new boiler. They estimated 3 days for the work and finished right on time. We also provided a very small footprint which we need the boiler and associated equipment to fit into and Grizzly was able to installed it exactly as discussed with no surprises or extra costs and the results were neat and tidy. We will be contacting Grizzly again for future plumbing needs.

    Kitchen and bathroom

    Calvin was very thorough and did an excellent job with the installation in both the kitchen and bathroom. He’s trustworthy and tidied up afterwards.

    Superb Service

    Our kitchen sinked became clogged on a Saturday evening. We've never had to call a plumber before and we used the listings on HomeStars at random. We called another plumbing company first and we were told it would take until Thursday to get a plumber. Feeling discouraged, we then called Grizzly because we liked their name and their reviews, but we didn't have much to go on. We were thrilled that they offer an on-call plumbing service and Andrew came to the rescue in 1/2 hour! They are extremely reasonable on their prices as we had after-hours work done on our sink that required new plumbing installation the next day. Andrew was professional and reliable and he arrived Sunday morning on the exact time agreed. We appreciated the attention to cleanliness as Andrew wore cloth protectors over his work boots and used drop cloths. We highly recommend this company for any of your plumbing needs.

    Fantastic Service

    We had issues with our water not being hot enough in our bathroom and after reading the positive reviews here we gave Grizzly a call. Calvin who performed the service was friendly and capable. He determined that the issue was the mixing valve and solved the problem. I showed Calvin some issues we'd been experience for a long time in our upstairs shower cartridge (another plumber had told us to find the part and then he'd install it). Calvin took a picture and track down the part for us and came back to replace the part in follow up service call.

    new boiler

    When our boiler stopped working, the Grizzly team first tried to fix it, then spent considerable and unhurried time explaining our options. After we decided on a new boiler they organized and completed the installation quickly and professionally. They are pleasant and focused in their work - no fuss, no mess, careful and considerate.     Incredible experience

    Absolutely one of the best experiences I've had with ANY trade professional. The Grizzly team did a fantastic job, and took the time to explain my options and listen to my concerns. The team was aligned with their approach, and never made me felt unsure about the direction we were going to resolve our issues. I hope I don't have to see Calvin, Kyle and Brad again, but when I do need plumbing service, I know exactly who to call.
