It is important to note that your cartridge had already been tampered with and the damage caused already existed before we even showed up. That is why you called us in the first place. Our technician attempted to take out the damaged cartridge which was unsuccessful due to the existing damage and age, and that is when replacing the entire unit was suggested. It is unfair to claim that our technician caused this damage when in fact it was clearly pre-existing. Otherwise you would've finished the work yourself. We hope you understand that we do always have your best interest in mind. Our technician exercised every option to try and remove this cartridge for you. Once the technician was on-site he determined an investigation was needed to try and find the source of the issue. This investigation and its cost was approved by you prior to beginning the investigation. It is not always guaranteed that the issue will be found when the investigation is concluded, but our technicians do their best and are highly skilled. An investigation is considered a service so there is a charge for it. Based on the information you had provided it was evident that your issue may have been caused by the construction of new homes in the area. We do apologize that we were not able to find the exact source and solve your issue, but we are pleased to hear that you were able to resolve the issue.
