    Fridge repair

    So during this corona virus shut down my fridge control panel decided to malfunction setting an alarm that would beep non stop every minute. I tried unplugging / resetting / leaving doors open for 10 minutes - nothing. After 4 hours of going mad with the alarm noise .. I messaged EZfix who called me immediately ( even though it was now almost 10pm). As an essential service they confirmed they could come in the morning. Thankfully Eugene came on time and was able to order parts and disconnect the alarm temporarily. He promised to be back ASAP once parts were shipped. Within 3 days my fridge was fixed. Extremely grateful during this crisis to have hired Eugene. During this time of quarantine..essential businesses have been impacted ...and I was happy to support a local small business. Thank you Eugene. I highly recommend his company for appliance repair.

    Fridge Repair

    My fridge and freezer stopped working and I needed it fixed fast. Eugene was amazing. Got back to me right away, confirmed a time, arrived on time. Assessed the situation, explained the results to me, broke down the detailed quote. He fixed it in the same visit, stayed to test that it was working and then even followed up (as promised) the next day by phone to ensure all was well. Strongly recommended!

    Dryer not working

    Eugene was on time, efficient and extremely professional. He did a full service on he dryer and determined the problem. Unfortunately the one part needed had been discontinued leaving me to purchase anew dryer. I would recommend Eugene to anyone requiring an honest opinion on repairing an appliance.

    Fast professional service

    Washer Leak

    Got a leaking washer. Team repaired leaking hoses and installed the washer back in short time. The space was tight so they had to uninstall the washer and dryer. They put everything back in time.

    Stove Repair

    Such great service and Eugene is so friendly. Very knowledgeable and meticulous. Came by twice to make sure 100% what was wrong with our stove so I didn't have to spend extra money and deal with trying to exchange parts. Would definitely recommend his work.

    Oven repair

    Response time and dedicated follow up was much appreciated. Eugene did a thorough diagnostic on my stove and repaired it in a very timely manner. Performed a couple of precautionary extra's, to try to prevent the same problem from occurring again. Thank you!

    Excellent service

    Prompt service and very honest. Sent them over to my rental property to diagnose an issue with my washer. He suggested that we replace it as the repair would have costed us more. I appreciate the honesty and the promptness. Their site visited price was also fair.

    Refrigerator repair

    My wife noticed our fridge leaking water from the freezer into the bottom fridge compartment. After a bit of research she found EZ Fix appliance Repair and booked a service call to take place within 48 hours. Eugene showed up, was courteous and removed his boots before he immediately started dealing with our problematic fridge. He stated our problems probably stemmed from 1 of 2 problems: the first strategy of attack was a de-Ice/steam treatment to remove built up ice in the pipes and the second option necessitated a new part. So Eugene attempted to de-ice it thoroughly at first and found that wasn’t the solution. He then took apart some of our control unit and found an ice blockage in a tray within the unit. This confirmed his hypothesis that it was a defrosting issue. He walked me through the issue by showing me the freezer hardware and talking about the part. He told me how much the part would be ($45) and asked if I wanted to tackle the issue at the extra cost. I said yes and replaced the part and had everything back in place within 15 minutes. He then told me to keep an eye on it and if any other related issues pop up in the next month or two he’d come back and attempt another fix but only charge for parts, not further labor. Super nice guy who not only fixed the issue but walked me through his process. He left his magnet/business card on my fridge and I plan on keeping it there to use when I have another appliance issue. The company also followed up a month later to make sure everything was ok. Great service!

    Oven repair

    I had a problem on a Sunday evening with an oven that would not shut off. Eugene answered the call and was immediately able to assist me. He came the following day. He was totally honest about the unlikelihood about it being repaired, as the oven was very old and parts were no longer available. If I had chosen to have his service try to repair the oven, and the attempt didn’t work, I would have still been liable for the cost of the work. I appreciated his honesty, and appreciated his suggestions re buying a new oven.
