    Quick response and home visit for assessment. Fully explained the issues and solutions to me. Got our oven back on service quickly. Won’t Heston contact them again.

    My experience was excellent from the very beginning! EZ Fix got back to me right away and was able to come the next day. Ken was on time, professional and did a superb job. The quote we received was honoured (even though I am sure the job wound up being more difficult than envisioned!) I have already booked them again. Highly recommend!

    Eugene was excellent with the repair of my fridge! He arrived on time, clearly explained the reason for the issues I was having and gave me a fair estimate, while insisting on using only original brand replacement parts. The parts arrived quickly and as soon as they did he promptly returned to complete the repair. I will use EZFix and request him again if anything else goes wrong with any of my appliances. I could not recommend Eugene and EZFix more to anymore needing help with their appliances.

    Showed up on time. Very professional. Assessed the problem and he will order the parts needed and repair. I was sure I was going to have to replace the washing machine but it will be fixed. I am very pleased. It is repaired. Perfect! Thank you.

    The technician came and seemed knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem, as I had expected, as an irreparable fault in a key part due to a bearing failure. But the fridge is 19 years old and the part is not available. (Actually, at one point he quoted a $900 repair cost with a $750 part cost, but the part is $50 if available and is not available at all, so there was something funny about this.) In the end, I just paid the $99 fee for the house call and at that point would give the three star review. But subsequently, a strong yank solved the problem, which must mean that the part was simply blocked by some ice buildup. The fridge is again working fine. So while I don't completely blame the technician for his failed diagnosis, it is also clear that he was at one point misleading. Would I recommend this company again? As a maybe. They claimed deep knowledge of this refrigerator, which I think turned out not to be as true as claimed. So not the worst, but clearly not the best.

    Easy communication, timely and friendly repair technician. However, they charged $97.21 for a $20 part (a lid switch available on Amazon) and $265 labor for a 17 minute fix. I understand that expertise isn't cheap, but this seemed like quite a steep price for such a simple repair.

To clarify - parts sold on Amazon are cheap for a reason, most are not OEM parts, and carry no manufacturer warranty. In the future, you are always welcome to purchase parts independently and request installation only. We pride ourselves in having no hidden fees, and no surprise charges - It's important for us to mention that all costs of diagnostic and/or repair are explained in advance and pending approval prior to any work being done.
