Jerry showed up right on time, which is already a big win in today’s world. But what truly impressed us was his professionalism, warmth, and can-do attitude. He was initially scheduled to troubleshoot a separate issue with our Bosch dishwasher, but when he noticed a few quirks with the installation, he didn’t hesitate to roll up his sleeves and take care of those too—even though it wasn’t part of the original call. That level of dedication, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile is rare. Jerry made the entire experience feel smooth, stress-free, and even enjoyable. He’s incredibly personable, explained everything clearly, and left our kitchen better than he found it.

Maor from Gold Star was amazing, within 24 hours, during a holiday, we once again had a fully functioning oven.. Maor was polite, informative, punctual and insisted he await payment until proving that the repair was correct and functioning. On previous occasions, we have had Jerry service an appliance and we also received excellent service at that time. They are a Gold Star company!

I hired Gold Star on two separate occasions, and have waited to write this review to make sure that I wasn't just SUPER LUCKY to have hired them the first time around. Fortunately, it wasn't just luck as they are that special unicorn of a company that lives up to its name - Golden! I found the customer service to be superior, starting with Hannah in the office. She called to confirm my online booking, asked me the right questions and answered any questions that I had honestly, and very patiently. She also followed up with me and provided me with any additional information that I didn't know, with excellent communication and quick response time. Next, I dealt with the technicians who were honest, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable. They saved my 20 year old washer and dryer which have now been running just like new since Gold Star serviced them. My machines required a part which was ordered immediately and was completely installed within 24 hours!! Amazing! Following this first experience I did not hesitate to hire Gold Star again for my rental property and felt extremely comfortable with having the technician go to the property without me having to be there to supervise. The communication and expertise was again excellent. I would strongly recommend Gold Star for their professional and highly knowledgeable service! 10 Gold Stars from me!

The washing machine stopped working because it could not drain the water used during the wash cycle. I called Gold Star Appliance Repair, and a service representative performed many diagnostic tests on the washing machine. After completing the tests, the service representative identified the cause - the drain motor pump had to be replaced. He provided assurance that the rest of the washing machine was in ideal condition ("like brand new condition") and that it made economic sense to proceed with the repair. The repair was completed on a timely basis and for a very reasonable cost. Highly recommend Gold Star Appliance Repair.

Our old Inglis gas dryer, while running, had stopped drying clothes properly. Gold Star Appliance Repair quickly came to the rescue. Their service technician was extremely experienced and was able to pinpoint the issue in no time at all. He thoroughly cleaned out our entire vent system and had our dryer back to doing its job within an hour. I would highly recommend Gold Star Appliance, and would say they are the top appliance repair company in the GTA.
