Review left on 17 Oct 2025Rating: 5 out of 5Wall or floor tiling: Interior; New installation; 320 sq ftWe hired Sam of QS Flooring and Stair because he not only demonstrated his knowledge when he originally viewed the basement area but his professionalism, kindness and ability to listen without upselling the client or trying to undersell others. His tiler, Vincent, is an absolute gem and perfectionist. He installed porcelain tile over vinyl or cement in 3 different basement rooms. To fix a significant gradient change between the hallway, which was already tiled years earlier, and a room he was tiling, he made a gentle slope, raising the floor in that area, an additional, labour-intensive maneuver that we didn’t expect and made the transition beautiful. We weren’t even aware that Vincent was there those four days because he works so diligently and quietly. I wish we had had a chance to thank him, as he did a magnificent job! Sam & his team member Ronald were kind and efficient in delivering the necessary materials. I recommend them highly as jewels of the trade. Worth every penny!Answer from pro:

When Sam came to our house to quote the job and he brought a huge variety of options and helped us pick the right floor for us. He was polite and very knowledgeable even helping us take up some of my old floor for a more accurate quote. The job was done very quickly and professionally. We left for the Reno, and they communicated with us proactively which gave us great piece mind. My wife and I are thrilled with the results. Sam even took time afterwards to come by and checked if there was anything we needed after the job was complete. Sam and Q and S flooring is for anyone looking for a great result with professional details for a fair price.Answer from pro:

QS helped us with the renovation of our main bathroom and has done exceptional job. Sa help us from design, selection of materials, and explain the do and don't of certain materials. Veey happy with his work and quality. He also check on us a few times after the job is completed just to make sureif there is anything that we need. Awesome customer service. We hired QS Flooring & Stair to remove old hardwood in our living room and family room and install new hardwood in these areas. Sam is very knowledgeable and helped us understand all the technical details of the installation. He was very effective with the scheduling and managing the project. Sam and his team on site were very friendly, professional and helpful and properly addressed all our requests and concerns.
