    2nd project - amazing results - the best in the biz

    Mud Monkeys did a full underpin of our detached home in Toronto - and did an incredible job. This was actually our second time working with them - we did a similar project about 12 years ago. When we moved and wanted to underpin our new home, we immediately wanted to work with them again. We did due diligence and got other quotes - but also had vendors give us bad advice in the process. In the end Mud Monkeys weren't the cheapest (but also not the most expensive) but it was worth the peace of mind to work with them. They are incredibly experienced, trustworthy and just decent people to work with. Darby and Nick lead their team with confidence and both are extremely responsive to any questions throughout the project. Their crews are respectful and friendly - all decent guys doing a really hard job. Underpinning is a huge job, and you need to trust your vendors to do the right thing, and you can trust these folks. Don't expect a major job like this to come without some level of dirt, disruption and noise - this is a MAJOR project. However this team at Mudmonkeys always did their best to minimize their impact on us while living in the home during this work. They went above and beyond to help us find vendors for related work (HVAC, plumbing etc) and making the schedule work around these other vendors. The work was completed to a high standard of quality and we are thrilled - again - with their work. I would not hesitate to recommend these folks in a heartbeat.

    Exterior Waterproofing

    Quality Work delivered on time and at a reasonable cost. Mid renovation of our basement, extensive water damage was discovered inside an exterior wall. Darby of Mud Monkeys was recommended by another contractor working on our project. Darby recommended waterproofing the exterior of the wall. He provided us with a thorough explanation of the process and identified potential issues that needed to be addressed due to the confined work area. The Mud Monkeys crew was extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. A big thank you to Darby for providing such a positive experience. We highly recommend Mud Monkeys and plan to use them again on future renovations.

    Excellent work and very pleasant to deal with

    No homeowner wants to discover water or moisture in their basement, especially if they were confident waterproofing had been done previously. Sadly that was the case for us and we had a breach. Darby was very professional and provided a prompt and reasonable quote . His crew of Brandon and Richie were excellent and extremely polite and conscientious young men. Days later we was discovered that a bit more work needed to be done to fully resolve the issue and this was quickly taken care of for not much more than materials and labour. This is a highly recommended company by my wife and I.

    Excellent work.

    I reached out to Darby at Mud Monkeys on the recommendation of my neighbor. They were able to quickly diagnose the issue and waterproof from the inside of the basement. Having COPD they were so considerate controlling the dust. They also went out if their way to accommodate my small basement in finding a perfect spot for the sump pump. All around a great experience. Friendly and very helpful staff. Excellent work and job site kept clean. Highly recommend!

    Exterior waterproofing

    I had water running across the basement floor from my north wall, and remembered that my neighbours had been happy with the work that Mud Monkeys did for them, so I called them. They were pleasant, professional, and effective, and solved that problem. When I needed the rest of my walls waterproofed, naturally I called Darby.

    highly professional and quick service

    i reached out to Darby for renovating the basement of my restaurant. they were quick to respond and gave me a very accurate estimate. they were very professional and even though they didn't have much time, mud monkeys did an exceptional job. I would highly recommend them exemplary work ethics and and top notch quality.

    Dry basement!

    Despite having done waterproofing with another company (who shall remain nameless!) in the past, we were still getting water coming into our East York basement. Mud Monkeys was recommended to me and I'm really happy I went with them. Very responsive, reliable, professional and reasonable. Our basement has remained dry since! I'd definitely recommend Mud Monkeys!

    Leaky Basement

    Darby and his team were incredible. I had called them years earlier and they directed me to check my evestroughs and that fixed the issue. Years later, I found myself with more water issues and this time, it was not the evestroughs, it was within the walls of my basement. I required an interior waterproofing job. Darby and his team were extremely professional. They knew exactly what to do and it explained it to me in a way that made it easy to understand. It's been over 1.5 years since the work was completed and I have not had a drop of water in my basement since. They managed my expectations with regards to the length of time the project would take and did a fantastic job cleaning up after themselves. I believe that Darby's prices are extremely fair and competitive and highly recommend Darby and his team for your water issues.
