    New Roof

Our roof was in terrible shape. We had waited too long as we thought we would be doing a major renovation to our home. When we decided not to renovate, we had to have the roof done extremely quickly. Jason was extremely accommodating in trying to fit us in. In spite of the cold weather, Jason's team worked tirelessly. The were extremely courteous and more importantly professional and efficient. Ours is a large roof, with 9 skylights that had to be replaced. At the end of every day, the team cleaned up every scrap of old roofing, nails etc. I so appreciated this as I have dogs, and it could have been very dangerous for them. I cannot express enough what an excellent job was done from start to finish. The roof and skylights look great. Worth every penny we paid. I would recommend Canadian roofing to absolutely everyone.

    Roof

The roof of my house is partially angled, partially flat. The eves needed replacing, my chimney was falling apart, and we had no air circulation in the attic. This required a lot of work, and CRC was able to give me a cash and carry discount to bring the cost down a bit, which I appreciated. They replaced the shingles, rotted boards, replaced the beams of my flat portion, added insulation, and put in soffits to allow proper air circulation in the attic (at my request). They also replaced the eves, capped my chimney, and even fixed a second chimney that the previous owner had put through a load baring member. My only criticism is that the roof ended up costing $5000 more than originally intended due issues found afterwards, which isn't the fault of the company, but it would have been nice this type of problem could happen. Also a few weeks afterwards a rep came back to my house to go over some work with the aluminum guy but didn't tell us, and we got a bit of a fright. At the end of the day though I feel I got the Cadillac of roofs, and I have no question that it is of the highest quality, and the workmanship is first rate. When the big Toronto summer storm that flooded out the West end came, we were high and dry inside the house.

    Shingle Roof

Thanks to Homestars I was able to read a number of reviews which assisted me in selecting a shortlist of roofing contractors. I chose Canadian Roofing Company. I was impressed with their professionalism from the initial quote stage. Jason quickly summarized the project and provided a competitive yet thorough quote that included shingle type/colour, drip edge, ice water shield, flashing, etc. Job was completed per the quote on time on budget. I highly recommend Canadian Roofing Company.

    Replace roofing on house

Thank you Jason for a job well done. Canadian Roofing Co. removed 3 layers of roofing materials (1 cedar and 2 asphalt). They made sure everything around the house was covered and also protected the neighbour's property with a tarp from the falling debris. They did a very thorough clean-up of the eaves and all around the house, much better than what we have seen from other roofers doing work in our neighbourhood. The work was done very professionally with edge metal to the eaves, ice & water shield to the perimeter of the roof line and synthetic underlayment. All the materials used were as per quote. It was a crew of about 6 or 7 workers and the entire job was finished in a day and a half as projected. This even though quite a bit of extra repair work was required on the wood decking and rafters on one side of the house. We approved the extra work based on an estimated extra cost. The extra cost was very reasonable for the amount of work involved, as was the original quote. The owner Jason inspected the roof after completion and also promptly addressed a small issue that we had raised with him. All in all a very good experience, definitely a company with integrity.

    Roof, Siding, Concrete sidewalk

I've had a great experience with Jason Hunter, The Canadian Roofing Company staff, and his subcontractor, Red Robin Masonry, who completed my new concrete walkway. Jason is passionate about his work, only to be matched by his knowledge of his business, and time, and interest in his clients' and their needs. Jason was able to help me to choose the best siding and shingles, to provide all necessary and cost efficient roof, eves trough, and siding installments. He's passionate and his crew are dependable about his work. My home has had a complete makeover; it's beautiful, along with a side walkway that looks fabulous. My neighbours are impressed. It was a huge job, but Jason worked within my budget, and just slightly over our planned end date. Upon completion, he arranged, on my schedule, to give me a full tour of the work completed, with a promise to return to correct a small upgrade that was missed, when my front siding was initially installed. Jason is a man of his word, and he's currently arranging to correct the oversight. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jason and his company, as the man and team who can give your home a total makeover, at high quality, and at a price that's very competitive

    Eavestroughs and Window Flashing

Canadian Roofing Company did a great job on our roof so we asked them to come back and do the finishing touches to the house. The guys worked hard adding new black evestroughs and white window flashing to make our 100 year old house look new again. It was a cold couple of days at the end of winter but they still did a great job!

    Roof replacement

Canadian Roofing completed the work quickly and completely to our satisfaction. The clean-up was excellent (no flat tires) and all foundation plantings were properly protected. The entire crew was pleasant to deal with.

    replace roof

Jason was very prompt in addresing our call. We were having a problem with leaking. He checked out the roof and determined the shingles needed replacing, Spent time explaning what should be done and gave us an estimate right away. Since the roof was leaking he said he would rearange his schedule to do the job as quickly as possible. We were very pleased that his crew arrives the next day at 8:30 and completed the job that same day. His workers were very proffesional and did a great job of cleaning up.

    Shingled Roof Replacement

Prior to the current work, Jason provided an estimate for a down-spout disconnection. His quote was $800 less than the other one we got. In fact, Jason said we should apply for an exemption to the bylaw requiring disconnection, which we did. Our roof seemed to be leaking and we called Jason given the great experience above. He came over as soon as has could, got up on our roof, took pictures and spent about 1.5 hours explaining all of the issues, how he would address the issues to make the roof as strong as possible, and outlined options and recommendations on products. He also noted areas that could wait if we needed (we also have a flat roof at the back of the house which will be done next year). As promised, Jason made time in his schedule to do our roof given the leak and his team came and completed their work in less than one day. The new roof aside, the only indication they were there was a bit of dust and a few rouge nails.
