Canadian Roofing first came to my attention in the early 1990's , and at that time did excellent work on the roof of my house with new shingles and the necessary upgrades . Recently the time came to contact a Roofing Compmay once more and I had no hesitation in contacting Jason Hunter of Canadian Roofing once more , as he is most professional in his work , and most business like in all aspects of the task . He takes the time and trouble to explain in exact details what procedures and materials he will use , and how your roof will be protected for many years to come . Jason is a first class professional .

The guys at Canadian Roofing Company did a great job on my roof shingle replacement on our 15 year-old home. Jason was up front about the price and value and made things right, even coming back to redo some flashing in a tricky part of the stone brickwork.

My wife and I bought our first house back in December this year. At that time, our home inspector told us we probably should re-do the roof this year. Like any new homeowner, budgets in the first year are tight and we were really unsure what to do. After some astronomical quotes we really wondered if we could postpone things, even just one more year. It was at this point, we started working with Jason. He thoroughly inspected our roof and provided us with a very reasonable quote. He laid out all our options and painstakingly walked us through every single step in doing our roof. No matter how many calls I made asking questions, he was always willing to offer me his honest opinion and lay out options. They did an amazing job, and were in and out in one day. You can see the quality and pride in workmanship in the result! They also did a great job cleaning up the entire site afterwards (I joked with my wife our driveway and patio hadn't been that clean since we moved in). It was great to work with a family business that puts their name and personal reputation behind every job they do. The other thing that impressed me was how Jason, his foreman and his workers all repeatedly thanked me for my business (it's that little extra professionalism that really impresses).

My roof was leaking into my bedroom closet. I called and Jason Hunter got someone over to tarp the part of the roof while he provided me with a quote to put on a new roof. I found his knowledge level and professional approach very satisfying. I also liked the idea of a family owned local company. The roof was repaired on time and in time for Toronto's crazy rain storms. I would highly recommend. Thank you Jason!

I called the Canadian Roofing Company when I noticed a water stain appear in a corner of a second floor bedroom. My house is 90 years old, and I was concerned that this might lead to more serious damage. I originally met Jason 12 years ago, when his company did some shingling on the sloped portion of my roof, and I remembered being very pleased with the work. Jason climbed up on my flat roof to assess its condition, then discussed possible solutions. I knew that I wanted to have all the soffit, fascia and eaves replaced but I didn't know how much I could afford to spend on the roof. Jason offered two options, and I decided to go with the more extensive work. Once the flat roof had been opened up, he replaced some of the rotting wood, before adding four layers of materials, including protecto-board flat roof sheathing and a 4mm torch down cap sheet. Now I have a flat roof in great condition, and new aluminum work that drains well. Two add-ons were a screening system for the eavestroughs and cellulose insulation piped into the cavity under my roof. Jason's workers were professional, and cleaned up really well each evening. The job took a total of three days, and has held up well during all the recent rain. Jason was always just a phone call away and cheerfully and patiently answered all my questions. When the job was over, he climbed up on my roof again to check on everything, and took photos with my digital camera so that I could see it myself. Jason takes great pride in his work, and he wanted me to be completely satisfied with all the details. I would definitely recommend this company.

I found Canadian Roofing Company on Home Stars and called them last winter when I had a small leak caused by an ice dam. Jason quickly called me back, took the time to explain the situation to me and how to prevent it from happening again even though I wasn't getting any work done at the time. That customer service led me to get a quote from him for a full roof replacement this summer. His quote was thorough and matched everything that the other companies quoted but was significantly less in cost. He was on holidays overseas when the job was being done which made me slighly nervous, but I didn't need to be. His foreman Steve and the rest of the team completed the job quickly and thoroughly, kept me informed of progress, gave me options when they discovered some unexpected wood rot and cleaned up completely before leaving. Jason came to check out the job once he was back from holidays and fixed a couple of minor things he noticed. I'm now referring him to 2 neighbours that need work on their roof and eaves. (The only reason they didn't get 10 was because they were a little delayed in getting started as they were busy with other jobs). Great work, professional team members and excellent customer service.

Excellent workmanship, service response and Jason spends tons of time explaining the whole process as mentioned before. Only small negatives are that I did wait awhile before they got to my house to be done and this was one of the higher quotes due to them providing one of the most comprehensive re-roofing applications.Definitely would recommend this company!!!

Performed roof repair, exterior stucco, parging, tuckpointing and created and installed an exterior railing. Very pleased, if a good contractor is worth their weight in gold, then Jason and his company are golden.

Bill and the entire team of Canadian Roofing Company were great! We unfortunately discovered that our house had 4 layers of shingles and the original wooden cedar planks underneath = an ugly and expensive roofing job. Due to the complexity of work involved we called 5-6 different roofing companies. No one compared to the professionalism and expertise of Bill. He climbed and navigated every inch of our roof, took pictures and discussed in great detail the problems at hand. Some companies didn't even climb our roof! Bill even offered to have us look at another home done by them to help us decide on shingle color. What service! The extensive work of removing 5 layers of shingles was completed in 2 days and Bill ALWAYS called if minor problems arose. Some rotting wood was discovered under the shingles and Canadian Roofing Company provided a certain amount of free lumber for the fix. Our house and front garden was well protected and left no debris behind. We had to repair some vinyl siding with the roofing work and Bill had a contact to fix that as well. With such an expensive and difficult roofing repair, I am so glad we went with Canadian Roofing Company. Their service was remarkable.

After discovering 2 areas on dampness on our upstairs ceiling I called Canadian Roofing (we had use them before for raccoon damage). Great service, prompt & informative. Due to the bad weather it was difficult to find a suitable time to re-roof, however when a window opened up they arrived in full force (9 workmen) & completed the job in one day. Excellent service, workmanship & thorough clean-up. Jason & Justin are a pleasure to deal with as are the rest of their crew.
