This note is in appreciation of the excellent roofing job completed by Jason Hunter's Canadian Roofing Company, in March 2009. Our flat roof on the rear section of our house at 46 Muir Drive, Scarborough, ON was in urgent need of repairs due to leakages. We read about Jason Hunter's excellent work from reading the positive reviews from this website and from researching other internet websites. Upon meeting Jason, we immediately got the impression that he genuinely cared for the customer and was not out to simply secure a deal for his company. Jason was very knowledgeable and provided an accurate assessment of the old roof's condition. He placed more emphasis on what his company would do to correct the problem rather than what he would charge for the work. During the interview, we were impressed by Jason's professionalism and honesty. He focused on the corrective action required to fix the roof and was very thorough in explaining the work items in the contract; all at a fair price. Ultimately, Jason's honesty and professionalism during the interview closed the deal. We are pleased to state that this advanced roofing renovation project that was initially guaranteed, was in fact a realization. Even when the job was completed in just 2 days, Jason came back to recheck for defects and quality. The roofing crew was professional and they promptly removed all garbage and cleaned up the surrounding premises. Shortly after the job was completed, there were numerous heavy springtime rainfalls and thunderstorms, but the new roof did not leak. Thus, new roof was tested numerous times by the weather elements with no issues - a testament to the quality workmanship of the Canadian Roofing Company. We are very pleased with Canadian Roofing Company's work and highly recommend this company for your roofing renovations.

Canadian Roofing has done work for my brother, father, elderly neighbor and finally our house. The entire job was completed in a day and half with a crew of 8. Everyone knew their jobs and worked well between each other. It was a messy job with three layers of shingles needing removal, moving vents, installing additional ones and installing cedar on a face wall. Once you find a good company like Canadian Roofing, stick with them.

While fixing the roof Jason's crew noticed that our eavestroughing was damaged. Sure enough during the winter melt off due to the plugged eavestroughing - it was apparent that something needed to be done immediately. Jason attended to our issue to get the job done quickly and efficiently with a minimum of fuss. This is the 2nd job he's done for our company and we are more pleased with his work. He is always friendly and accommodating. I feel he offers sound advise and does his best to try to fit in with our working budget. I have never hesitated to recommend him to my friends .

Jason at Canadian Roofers answered my call promptly and was at my house to provide a detailed quote for a complete re-shingle within a matter of hours. He took the time to properly inspect my roof and detailed exactly what he thought needed to be done and even suggested potential problem areas and how to deal with them. As a person who has a good understanding of roofing systems,I found Jason to be honest and thorough. His quote was well within the range of several others I received. As with any job, it is only as good as the crew performing the work. I found the entire crew to be skilled, professional, respectful and friendly. Simply put, they did an outstanding job. Recently I was faced with a leaking roof for the fourth time after another contractor failed to solve the problem. I found Canadian Roofing on the Homestars.com site and contacted Jason, who came that day and had his team do the job properly the very next day. Jason helped me in what's considered the "off season", when other roofers would not answer their phones, or if they did, told me to call back in April when "roofing season really starts". I guess no one told Mother Nature this!!! Between the winter thaw and lots of rain, my basement started to take on water. Because of the basement being "finished", Jason was honest in that it was difficult to tell whether the shape of the roof/chimney or the foundation was causing this, but we both agreed that the roof needed help regardless......and quickly!! In addition to my home feeling threatened, I was going through other major issues.......Jason really empathized with my situation and once I gave him the go ahead, he moved things around to get my job done in under a week.....before the next rainfall. Jason was quite frank in saying that they're not the cheapest roofer out there, but you do get what you pay for. They did an amazing job and it has solved the problem :-))!! As a female who is leery of all contractors, I highly recommend Canadian Roofing Company Ltd. It's very rare to have a contractor actually do what they say they're going to do!!!

Jason was one of a number of contractors I called to replace my roof. Not only was he the most friendly and accommodating, he was also the only one that was right on where the home inspector said our quote should be. Jason took the time to explain the work in detail, before we hired him, and then was ready to answer any questions necessary. Jason ended up calling me on short notice and asked if he could do the job early. I was excited to get the project started and found 11 men ready to work the next morning. Each staff was considerate of my family moving around the site and spoke to our neighbors in a friendly fashion. The entire roof was up at the end of the day and the site was extremely clean. I would recommend Jason to anyone who is looking to do any work on their roof and could not understand why you would use anyone else.

I have had Jason and his crew do several Jobs including roof replacement and eave trough etc.I have always been very satisfied with the quality of work done, the way the area is cleaned on completion and the politeness of the work crew. I have found the price to be very competive and the work to be prompt with no delays in its completion I would recommend this company to all .

We needed to get the roof shingles installed on an addition to our house. The Canadian Roofing team got the job done quickly and at a good price. The install team did a great job ensuring the new shingles tied in with existing roofing. The team was courteous and made sure eveything was tidied afterwards. Highly recommended.

We replaced roof about 5 years ago with a 10-yr guarantee ... this company did not return our calls to fix repairs so we called Jason for help. He came out quickly and gave a relistic assessement and fixed within a short timeframe. Very pleased with his professionalism and honesty. He also offered up info on how to report the original company that did not return our calls. We recommend his.
