Our installer was fantastic and completed the install in a few hours. He explained how the system worked, and set up our phones to link. We did set it off a few times and the response time was seconds! They were very nice about it as well. We did have a malfunction with a sensor and they called right away to tell us. We were able to fix it right away ourselves and never had an issue again. I would highly recommend The Monitoring Centre to anyone shopping for alarm systems and monitoring as their products are top notch, the service is very affordable and far superior to any other I have seen before.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

I contacted The Monitoring Center sales and technical departments in April 2022 to discuss an upgrade to my 27-year-old residential security system. The hard-wired sensors were to remain intact but the other components of the system needed to be replaced with newer hardware with additional features. The Monitoring Center personnel took the time to answer all my questions and to provide me with helpful suggestions. On 19-May-2022, a Monitoring Center technician arrived at my residence and completed the upgrade in three hours. His work was professional and of high quality. He gave me instruction in the use of the new system. He also delivered all hardware documentation to me, as requested. The new security system has been successfully in operation to date (22-Dec-2022) with no problems. I am very happy with it and with the monitoring service provided by The Monitoring Center.Answer from pro:

You get what you pay for - stay away if you value your safety. They are obviously way understaffed and it takes over 20 minutes to answer your call even if an alarm was triggered - you would have been robbed or possibly even harmed by this time. This has been the case for years but overlooked due to price until I needed them to answer my call. Looking for new alarm monitoring company who will truly monitor my alarm - the risk you are taking with TMC is simply not worth it. Stay away !Answer from pro:

The sales team who provided pricing to sign up is quite nice however once they transfer you to the scheduling department, everything changes. The Monitoring Center might seem like a great deal until you realize the additional costs they add. When you compare them to other security companies, they are sub-par. The scheduling department was not accommodating and extremely rude. We are going elsewhere. I do not recommend this company.Answer from pro:

Amazing organization! I am so grateful and thankful for their expertise and professionalism. Every department that I have dealt with has been helpful and taken the time to listen to my questions and needs. I recently had extra window contacts added and Richard was an outstanding and professional technician who took great care of the many small details that it took to install the contacts that keep me safe. I am an existing customer and it is very frustrating to get through their 1-866 number or with their chat reps online (see pis attached). 20 minutes hence I still had no one online to assist with a simple enquiry. they are good though at the monitoring part but all the best if you ever have to reach them!Answer from pro:

Used this company for over 5 years with no issues until now. Their technician installed my devices to the door. After awhile they stopped working and I’m told I have to wait two weeks to get service for their error. Rick who is supposed to be a manager continued to put the blame on us, even though we did not install the devices to the door. Not willing to try and get someone in here faster to solve the issue they caused. Very disappointed and will be cancelling this service.Answer from pro:

I changed from a small local monitoring centre to The Monitoring Centre. I was a bit nervous going to a large company from our local guy which we knew. I can’t say enough about their service. In the first few months they added a moisture meter in our basement. We were away and got the call.. we had moisture. Rained over 2 inches and sump pump couldn’t keep up. We had someone come in and resolve our issue but if we hadn’t changed we would have had thousands in damage. When they call. Always polite and efficient. Must mention the installer was very pleasant as well. Best choice we could have made and they are EXCELLENT!Answer from pro:
