    Home Security Service

    We are very pleased with the Monitoring Centre. We had been with other company for many years and paying a lot more than this. TMC's sales reps were nice and the technician that came to our house were amazing too. We are very happy with TMC, and we will definitely recommend this service with others.

    Good service, highly recommended

    My family is very pleased with the Monitoring Centre. We had been with other company for many years and paying a lot more than this. TMC's sales reps were very great and the technician that came to our house were amazing too. We are very happy with TMC, and we will definitely recommend this service with others.

    Setup old security system to monitor with cellular

    Minus 1 star only because it took a month to get a tech to come out and set my system up. I had an existing system. We did not know the code and neither did the previous owners. The tech had no problem resetting the system and adding in the cellular monitoring. Very quick and easy. So far no issues. Expensive up front because you pay for a whole year, but the discount on home insurance almost pays for the monitoring. Anytime I had to call to set up my monitoring and setup, I was on hold for no longer than a few minutes. Probably best to try and call at off peak times as I did.

    Absolutely Awful!

    bsolutely awful! Made me wait 2 weeks for an installation appointment and then cancelled the day of. Booked a second appointment even though I should have taken the first cancellation as a sign of their incredible incompetence and unprofessionalism. They cancelled the second appointment after making me wait 2 hours on the technician and then tried to make me book a third appointment! I would caution anyone not to use the Monitoring Centre but everyone is probably safe, they aren't competent or professional enough to show up and do the install anyway. What a joke this company is.

    BUYER BEWARE

    BUYER BEWARE! If I could give this company a minus rating, I would. After being a loyal customer for over eight years, when I cancelled because of a move, they charged me for a full year. Not once during those eight years did they notify me in writing that they were billing me annually. Not one email, not one phone call. Their website advertises a monthly charge but they sneak in the yearly contract via a voice confirmation. DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING. To add insult to injury, the customer service representative never returned my phone call or emailed me after she said, "she would look into it."

In order to deliver the lowest cost alarm monitoring across North America, we do not invoice our clients and all customers are on automatic debiting in order to keep our costs down allowing for the delivery of this low cost monitoring. Our agreements are now and always have been one year automatically renewable and our clients must give us 15 days notice in writing in order to stop the pre-authorized debiting. This is not hidden but is clause 4 of our agreement and is explained fully up-front. Should the customer cancel outside of the perameters of the agreement, the prepaid funds become like a store credit. You can leave the balance in your account for usage at a later date, you can take the funds with you to your next residence or you can gift the funds to whomever you wish. I urge you to contact me directly, Mirella, Sales Manager 1-866-247-4999 Ext 2235 or email mirella@themonitoringcenter.com so we can decide how you would like to use the funds left in your account.     Hats off to the Monitoring Center

    So glad i switched my monitoring service. Installation was seamless and the customer service has been outstanding. Everything they said they would do they did without hassle. Very Pleased so far.

    New home alarm

    I bought a new home. I had TMC at my prior home and loved it. Got it again and the service and install experience even better this time around. Just gets better and better.

    Home Monitoring

    I have been with TMC for quite a while now. I moved from my house in 2015 to an apartment where I could not take my TMC services. TMC held the balance unused months as credit on my account. I recently restarted monitoring after almost 2 years and they reused my credit. Again the services are exceptional at the price they offer. I am very happy with TMC

    happy so far

    I had an existing alarm system and got them hooked up which was easy and friendly. Called them after being reffered from my father, and got it hooked up within a week. Brent the technician showed us everything after Mirella at sales got us started.

    Home monitoring

    Great service for instaltion and also customer support. Great value for money when I come to home security system. Agent attending was on time and courteous to my needs and set up was easily done.
