We had a new furnace and a/c unit installed in June this year. On Sept 1st it started to make a noise. I called reliance and a tech wasj sent over that afternoon and he diagnosed the problem and ordered a part for us. Two days later the part arrived and I called to book another appt for them to come and install it. Someone came the next afternoon, but had no idea what he was coming here for. He thought he was fixing the hot water heater. When he saw the part he said "whoa, I can't install this plus it it a four hour job. They booked this appt wrong. I will have to call someone else to put this in another day". He then looked at the furnace and saw it was full of ice and leaking water all over our basement. He took out the filter that was dripping wet, left it on the floor and left our house without giving us any further instruction. I called reliance again and the lady there told me to turn off the a/c unit and told me someone would call me back with a new appt to install the valve. Later that night a supervisor called and said someone would install the "coil" and the appt was to booked three days later.
This company has terrible communication skills and it seems nobody documents the work they have done, because the people at customer support never know what has happened. They are constantly contracting other people out to do the repairs and half the time they don't know what job they are showing up for. I am very disappointed with this service and after my contract is up, I will not enter another one with this company. They sell it to you like there is nothing better, but it has turned out to be frustrating and time consuming. I have now spent three days waiting at my house for them to arrive and fix their equipment, ans it still doesn't work.
