    Hot Water Heater

    For second time within a month we had to contact Reliance to come and fix the problem again. The staff handling the booking were great, unfortunately due to Reliance being busy they were not able to service the problem at the schedule time. So after a few phone calls we were able to scheduled another appointment the next day. The technician arrive as scheduled and fixed the problem within half an hour. Hopefully this problem will not occur again. The technician we very polite and went about in business in a professional manner.

    HVAC system

    Tom was very good during the sales process, and never made me feel pushed/rushed. Jon and Kelly were excellent at installing the system. An overall good experience dealing with this company.

    Hot Water Heater Repair

    Jason Mitruk was very polite, helpful and quick with the job. He identified three different problems and fixed them all. It did take 24 hours to get someone out here, which wasn't the greatest without hot water, but certainly not Jason's fault. Total cost was covered by our monthly rental fee.

    Water Tank Replacement After Flood

    Having a flood and cleaning up is stressful. I was so happy to see Paul F. (RCH 0498) from Reliance Home Comfort. I was given an appointment time of 1pm-5pm and you know that usually means 5pm. Paul arrived at 11am…I was so surprised when I opened my door. He was so helpful and informative. Such a pleasure to deal with. I'm annoyed with Reliance Home Comfort. I rent my water heater and apparently this one was 19 years old. At no point did anyone suggest replacing it due to age…I wonder how energy efficient it was. When I spoke with the company I was told I had to "buyout" my water heater. I wouldn't think a 19 year old water heater would have any value left on it but apparently it does. I'm hoping insurance payouts out for the flood!

    Replaced Flame rod/igniter assembly

    Grayston was on-time, professional and polite. He provided a clear explanation of the problem at hand and accurate fix in a timely matter. He made recommendations for upgrades to prevent future malfunctions on some Carrier furnaces. Thank you Grayston!

    Bad service..

    This letter is to express our great concern regarding the installation of a water heater tank from your company in my house, after three days of the installation we started smelling gas in the basement and we called your service centre and then the call was transferred to Enbridge. Enbridge technician discovered two loose gas pipes that were handled by your two technicians when they did the install! one of the pipes was hand loose! also your tech added an insulation sleeve to the cold water pipe and it was touching the exhaust which in turn was melted! Finally the Enbridge technician gave me a warning for having a tank that is not grounded and he mentioned that it is your technicians responsibility to get things done up to the code. I trusted your company and gave you business and the installation carried our by your staff was improper and endangered my property and most significantly my family and my pets.

    hot water heater replacement

    After the flooding, we desperately needed a new hot water heater. Nick B. was FABULOUS! Very courteous & professional. Took the time to really explain the new unit, and made sure we were satisfied. Lovely to encounter a service professional who obviously loves his job!

    Air conditioner

    My service guy was Wally #0480 Not that friendly at first but turned out okay in the end and went out of his way to come back a second time and fix the problem. Good service

    Air Conditioner

    I was very happy with the service right from the start. Reliance was able to send the serviceman out (Greg) on Sunday morning. He easily assessed the problem and let me know I would need a new unit. He agreed to contact Betty for me that day. Betty came out to meet with me on Sunday afternoon, she was very thorough, explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and provided written information. She was able to arrange for Monday morning installation - Dan and Luke were wonderful, I was not at home but my friend said they were prompt, friendly, accommodating and ensured the unit was working that she knew how to operate. I very much appreciate the work Reliance did for me, and would recommend them to friends and family in need.

    A/C Installation

    Mike & Sean arrived on time and were very polite. There was a problem with the location for the A/C but they were very helpful in resolving the issue. They worked quickly and did a great job as well as cleaning up after themselves.
