    replace water heater and install drain pan

    The tank replacement was approved June 10 by an on site tech visit. The work was scheduled for June 19/14. Two techs arrived about 1:40pm, reviewed the tank and one said it didn't need to be replaced. The question I asked was why the change in decision? The tech said he spoke with his boss and unless I was "dead set on changing it", they were only going to install the pan. The concern for me was I was told previously that the direct vent piping was no longer approved and should not be touched because it could crack and leak exhaust gas into the house. Because of the piping issue it only made sense to change the tank, replace the venting and install the drip pan. The tech clearly became agitated- said he had to go to the shop and get materials (why he would arrive on site to service a work order that said replace equipment as mentioned above without parts is puzzling). The tech left the house agitated took off in the service vehicle squealing the tires down the driveway over the curb, down the street, around the corner and out of site. I called the 800 number and spoke with Norma; told her my story and suggested it is best that tech does not return. Norma was very concerned, made some calls, assured me this is not acceptable behavior and a new crew would do the job. Some time later one of the other techs and a new tech arrived (Braden and Dan). They did a professional job, were pleasant, respectful (of me as well as the house- laid mats, covered their boots, etc) and nothing was damaged. I would have them back anytime.

    Furnace & A/C installation

    Sales rep (Don V) was very knowledgeable and thorough in his review of our residence in order to recommend the best products and programs available to protect our home and keep down costs. The installers (Tim & Jason) were efficient, also very knowledgeable about product performance, with tips and hints to use it effectively, and no mess left behind.     Protection Program Maintenance check

    Hello, Just wanted to take the time to tell you about your outstanding service technician that came to my home this morning. He first called me to tell me that he was approx. 15 min. away. I actually hung up the phone and told my partner that I was pleasantly surprised. He was very nice, upbeat and professional, quite a change from most service techs that come out. He arrived as scheduled and did a great job...not that I can tell what he's doing but he informed me of everything he did and how I could maintain my equipment. It certainly made me want him to get him do other repairs/service in my home. I asked about my gas oven being moved and he informed me what Reliance would offer and could do. I will definitely be calling reliance for that and possibly my gas fireplace in the fall. Thank You, His name was Robert Maclean.

    Preventative maintenance: a/c

    Technician (Mike Zevallos) was on time (window is from 7 - 11 though) and was courteous and thorough. Took time to recommend strategy for self-cleaning throughout the year and helped me to program my thermostat - hey, it's tougher than it sounds! :-) Took off shoes upon entry without being asked and declined coffee/water. Tried upsell on the furnace, but it was a pressure-free discussion and sounded like a pretty good deal. This maintenance was included in my $30/month service contract.

    Service of Furnace

    Mike Zevallos from Reliance came in to fix my furnace. The problem seemed to be with the thermostat as the temperature was not being regulated as per setting. Mike was courteous, quiet and efficient. I had time so I 'hung around'. As he did his initial analysis he explained to me how this stuff works and what the solutions could be. In a jiffy he had determined that it was the thermostat that was bad, and proceeded to change it. Good, efficient courteous service. Kudos to Reliance and its staff. Keep it up.

    hot water tank

    Saleem Malik came to our house to fix our water heater. I was very surprised because he was very efficient and fast. I also like the way he explained what the problem was. Very happy with the service i got from Saleem and Reliance.

    service

    The technician was doing a good job to replace my water tank but customer service is no good. I have been wasting my time waiting at home for 2 nights for the service but was cancelled.

    Replace Water Heater

    I had considerable trouble communicating my anxiety to telephone person. However my nervousness ended when technician called to say he was 5 minutes from here and as soon as Mike Rees came in I knew we were in good hands. He was quick, efficient, polite, neat & clean ,knowledgeable and thorough-- a wonderful ambassador for your company.

    Air Conditioning (A/C)

    Install Crew: Fusion Heating & Air Conditioning Project: AC Install by Mark & Graeme Date: 21 June 2014 Excellent service. Arrived on time and were well prepared. Walked us through the install and answered every question at all point during the process. Very knowledgeable. Great attitudes, work ethic and were quite funny. Thanks Guys.

    water heater

    Reliance is good. My water heater is broken yesterday and called them. They tried to give me the earier appointment. The guy came in today morning. As we need to change a bigger one, he helpd us change it immediately. We don't need to wait for tomorrow appointment. Good recommendation for reliance. ^_^
