    Hot water tank a service

    Last night my hot water tank failed and I called Reliance's 24 hour customer service line to book a service appointment. I was given an appointment for today between 7-11pm, however I requested that if possible the technician try to arrive closer to 7pm as we have a newborn. Allen, the technician, read my request and arrived just after 7pm. Allen was friendly, courteous and effective. He knew what needed to be replaced and repaired the tank in a careful and efficient manner. Your reputation is built on those you employ, I'm sure Allen will continue to positively contribute to Reliance's reputation.

    Consumer Home Comfort Rental Agreement

    I am writing this review to warn the public about Reliance's worry free program and the need to cautious when entering an agreement with this company. In my opinion, the worry free insurance you buy is only worth the expense when you stay with the program for the equipment's useful life or if it breaks down unexpectedly beyond its warranty period. If you move and the buyers of your home do not agree to assume the rental agreement you will naturally be required to buy out the residual value. Reliance does not address this potential issue issue when they come to discuss the advantages of their program. They only focus on the current incentives such as energy program rebates. They also fail to advise you that they mark up the product value by a minimum of 300% and focus only on the aspect that they perform regular maintenance which is covered through rental agreement. I sourced out the products installed (furnace and air conditioner) and they retail for a total of approx $2500. It will cost $8800 to get out of the program.

    Hot water tank replacement

    We had Jonathan Cain come into our home to have a look at our leaky hot water tank. He was able to diagnose the problem as a cracked drain valve and repair it within 10 minutes. He was professional, courteous and very polite. I would certainly request him by name if we need service in the future. We received service the same day we called and within the outlined time frame given. Very satisfied and happy with both the phone call to report the problem as well as the service by Jonathan Cain.

    hot water heater

    our hot water heater had stopped working. we called for service.Saleem showed up within the hour. He looked over the water heater and told us the problem and fixed it right away.we are very pleased with the service.

    Central Air Check Up

    My sincere thank you to Ken #750 who provided the best service call I have ever had from any company. This man was pleasant, interested and took his time to ensure every single thing was done and explained. He was a fabulous knowledgeable teacher who taught me a great deal, explaining everything to support his answersl!! I have never been so satisfied with a service call charge as I am with this one. Reliance~ I hope you realize and recognized what a gem of an employee you have here....Ken I fully appreciate you and your expertise with the air and that 'squeak' in the furnace, your attention to the job and the homeowner provides that old fashioned service we so rarely find anymore.

    AC Repair/ Maintenance

    Robert Maclean was on time and very friendly. His behaviour was very professional and resolved my issue in a timely manner. I am very happy to have purchase this service/ protection plan and most thankful to Reliance for sending such a courteous service technician.

    Hot Water Tank, Furnace, A/C

    I've had nothing but fast, honest, and accurate service from Reliance. I rent their products, and have the peace of mind knowing that if something breaks down, someone will be there to take care of it as soon as possible, and will fix or replace it with quality parts. I will recommend them to everyone!

    Air Conditioning

    Rob fixed my air conditioning.It hasn't been working for a few day now so we called in. Rob did it fast and there were no problems after he left. I would like to thank Rob for making my air conditioning work.

    Service

    For the past eight years we have been using Reliance home comfort (Union Energy) for our service on our air conditioner and furnace. We have always been very pleased with the thoroughness and personal attention your Manger (Matt Smith) and Technician (Angelo) has given to our requirements.     Water Heater Fix

    Water heater was not heating the water only cold water was working and Bradley Starratt fixed it was very satisfied with his work. He was very friendly and helpfull with this sesuation.
