    Hot Water Tank Servicing

    Ringo Lau came to service our HWT today. I was impressed when he automatically wore special booties that covered his outdoor shoes and kept the work area in a clean state. He cleaned the motor to ease the noise and explain things along the way. He definitely went above and beyond. I will surely ask for Ringo personally for all of my future service calls!

    Ductless Air Conditioner install

    We recently had an air conditioner installed and the installers were very neat and efficient..they worked very neatly and left the area they were in the same as they found it!

    Air conditioner, furnace and hot water heater

    Dylan and Bill Spence were pleasant to have work in our home. They were both very professional, friendly, extremely helpful and patient. They cleaned up everything and you wouldn't have known there was even work done. We recommended them to do the work at another family member's home. Would recommend them again.

    Furnace Replacement

    Reliance Home Comfort Sales representative Michael MacDonald called to confirm on Feb 9th in the morning that the Canadian model P96VA0602317MSA is indeed the same as the American model R96VA0602317MSA after our furnace purchase on Feb 8th. I really appreciated he took the time to follow up with the client. The furnace Rheem was scheduled for installation on Feb 11th from 8:30am to 12:30pm by the subcontractor Seasonal Home Comfort (Technician: Mike Sugrim & his brother). The furnace is running fine so far, and I am very happy with the service provided even with an extra water pump being installed and extra cost. The new furnace seems to be a bit quiet than my previous one when it is at slow speed. Kamila from the Reliance was very helpful for submitting the Furnace Incentive program online for me, and promptly to call back and advise for the information details. Reliance Home Comfort has done an excellent job to satisfy the client.

    Reliance, tankless water heater

    anual free furnace service

    Yesterday I received my annual free furnace service from Reliance Home Comfort. The technician was very thorough in cleaning and inspecting my furnace. He showed me several parts that required replacement and what parts and signs to watch for in the future. He replaced what he had and ordered the rest. He was very informative and took the time to answer all my questions and explained in detail my model furnace. This was by far the best furnace service call I've experienced.

    Hot water tank pressure

    Hot water tank lost pressure Allen Batur was service rep. did a great job, explained problem clearly and performed repair in short space of time. If I have any other issues hopfullly I will get same service rep. Allen Batur.

    Furnance/Air Condtioner Replacement

    Last year in December our furnace started to act up and we needed help immediately. After going through all the ratings on Home Stars we decided to call Reliance. They sent us out a sales person the next day, Mike Oryschak. He was prompt to the minute he said that he would be here and made us feel very comfortable talking with him. The first thing he did was to go down and check the furnace that we still had on. Mike immediately turned it off as it could have caused a major fire. Being seniors we needed a little more explanations on some points but he was patient and answered all of our questions. He went through all of the options that we had, just to do the furnace now and wait for the air conditioner to go, not replace the water heater, buy, rent etc. In other words he gave explained all the options pointing out the pros and cons of each. In the end we decided to have a complete replacement so that everything was new and we would have no problems in our lifetime. He suggested that we rent for the first year and then consider a buy out when the year was up. Again we followed his advice. The furnace was installed on the day it was promised. The first thing the installers did was to put a runner down the stairs leading to the basement and booties so that no dirt or water would be tracked into the house. We were ever so pleased with the install and with the fact that one of the installers came back a couple of days later just to make sure everything was working as it should and to tidy up any wirers etc. We also received a call in April to book an appointment for a service person to come out in May just to check that the air conditioner was working properly. That's service. This week we decided that we were going to buy out the furnace and called Mike for his expertise. He once again came over and walked us through the process, telling us when to call; pointing out that the price that he had given us in December was the price that we would pay. It was great to work with Mike and to work with Reliance, we are sold on they because of their service and integrity we will recommend both to anyone we know that needs a furnace or air conditioner replacement. There is an old saying that "You only get what you pay for", other companies were cheaper and had horror stories to match. RELIANCE/MIKE ALL THE WAY

    Water Heater

    We had a problem with our water heater. It kept on turning off every few hours and we'd have to go downstairs and physically plug out the tank and back in for it to start working again. We had called a technician the week before but it didn't work as the problem came back. We called the technician again and this one, Gurmeet, knew exactly what the problem was and did what he needed to do within a few minutes! This being a completely different process from what the technician from the previous week did. Thus making our tank like brand new again! Thank you Gurmeet you've been a great help and a wonderful personality to meet and converse with.
