I experienced that dreadful hot water tank blow out with water coming out of the top like a running river. Called Reliance for service and the dispatcher had told me that it would take the next day to come out for service. Almost having a heart attack and telling the service rep I had no water he put me on hold for a couple of minutes then came back online to tell me he managed to to get me someone and the service rep will be at my door within 4-8hrs. WOW 2hrs later I received a call from Reliance could the service man come earlier like in the next 5 minutes. I was greeted at the door by a friendly staff member Joey D employee# 0977 Joey had quick look and determined the tank was old and it would need replacement. This employee was very informative and and kept me up to date with his progress keeping my mind at ease. A lot is to be said about this employee coming in with boot covers laying down carpet runners and cleaning up after himself it was like nothing every happened. If you ask me from being a supervisor of a huge corporation this is exactly the tape of employees we look for that pay attention to detail. This employee should be recognized and rewarded for his professionalism dealings in the public sector. Very Satisfied customer Dave & Beth McLennan

Woke up on a cold Sunday Morning to no hot water. I called Reliance and yes they do have one of those hateful phone mazes that you have to press this and that, but actually it was shorter than most and I got through relatively quickly. I spoke to a nice gentleman who had me check my vents and reset the tank. after 2 hours still no heat..called back again set up an appointment for the following morning, and made arrangements for showers at the neighbours ( at minus 10 who wants that). I went off to work, got a text from my family that reliance had called asked to come that afternoon instead, problem was fixed and we would have hot water by 7 that night. Loved the quick service, and the professionals on the phone. But even though my husband didn't get the service mans name, he made the call..he was kind,professional and quick! I have had some very rude service people come into my home. so I wasn't looking forward to another.. So thanks Reliance for sending a great service rep!

Recently I had to have my water heater replaced and the team member Tim H. who had the difficult task of removing the old and installing the new was excellent. He took the time to ensure there was no mess and clearly explained everything that he was doing. Thanks for making a stressful situation much more manageable.

Gurmeet singh came earlier in the day to fix my hot water tank. As it was the weekend he didn't have the parts. Gurmeet went out of his way to get the parts and come back when he could of easily come on a Monday. He returned on a Sunday spent 2 hours fixing the hot water tank. This is my first time filling out a recommendation for someone. I really thank Gurmeet for his amazing service.

Polite courteous ,knowledgeable and very professional . Was quick in identifying the problem, fixed the problem, checked and cleaned the burner area gave energy saving options , tankless water heater and signed up for AC and Heating Furnace Service contract.

Mr. Saleem M Employee# 2467 was very helpfull and knowldgeable He installed the new tank and explained about its features. He was quick and profesational. Adviced about monthly protection plan. I wish him all the best.

i called realiance because i wasnt getting any hot water and within minutes they sent somebody over named Mohammed Wasay...He is a trusted advisor for the company and helped us out fixing the problem and answered any questions we had ..i hope next time i have a problen they send over mohammed ..thanks alot mohammed

I called Reliance and in just a few Hrs. someone called me and was on there way to look at my hot water heater. The gentleman that showed up was Matt employee#1920. He determined I needed a new tank and installed one very efficiently with no mess at all. He was very informative and made sure I was completely satisfied of the installation before leaving. Thanks Matt!

Thanks to Jason #3172 we were able to have our furnace motor completely replaced with in hours. It should have cost us $800 +HST but because we have the Reliance Home Protection plan on our furnace and a/c unit we didn't pay anything!! NOT a dime!! Thanks Reliance for your Protection Plan suggestion in 2013

We called Reliance for our furnace and we had two men come to diagnose and fix within 24hrs. Tim and Jessie are the best! They were very professional and answered all of our questions. Even went the extra mile to show us the problem and what the follow up should be. I hope if/when we have to make a call for service we get either Tim or Jessie again!!! Well done Reliance you have a couple of gems with these guys!
