    inspection

    Had Derek, from reliance come by to inspect my furnace. He was very polite and explained everything he was doing step by step. Didn't cut any corners and was at my house longer then any other service man. Thanks reliance and thank you Derek.

    new water heater

    Jonathan Cain made quick and efficient work of replacing our rusting water heater. He was informative about the work he did, left our home tidy after his job and even whistled some Christmas tunes while finishing his work.

    Replacement of Hot Water Tank

    Since moving into this townhouse I have had to call Reliance annually at least once each winter. Each time we get a snow fall with winds from the South East only. Result is that the outdoor air intake design allows snow to accumulate and there is no way for the home owner to prevent it. The design is approx. 20 yr. old units. Finally we are forced to wait until we run out of hot water and await Reliance to clear out the obstructive snow accumulation, and relight the pilot light...usually we only need to go without for 24 hr. This time our Reliance repairman was a tremendous help and after calling for more information with relation to our particular home site...was able to arrange for a new hot water tank to be installed with a modern air duct system which should prevent future needs to call for lack of hot water due to the out-dated system. We are thrilled and look forward with anticipation to our new hot water tank.

    water heater

    my phone experience was brutal, the guy promised me a solution yesterday and support would contact me in 20min...... 2 hrs later I called back to find out that no one is coming.....I requested to speak to a supervisor " mary" she was tooo busy to speak with me so they took down my number and again promised that with in 20min I would be contacted by "mary"... im still waiting. My home service was great. Richard podzorski was quick polite and helped me to get hot water wich is all im really interested in. I also had service a few months ago the gentelmans name was brad he also did excellent job here. I am still miffed regarding my experience yesterday with your phone staff and I would still like follow up if that is possible, my name is ryan 647-5020-6468

    furnace & A/C install

    I had Chris and Dave here 2 days for the install. I was very satisfied by their work and work ethic. It was -20 celsius outside and they made sure we had heat was their first concern.

    FURNACE REPAIR

    I AM A RELIANCE HOME COMFORT PLAN HOLDER. THIS WEEK MY FURNACE BASICALLY QUIT. RELIANCE WAS ON SITE WITHIN 18 HOURS AND ED (#8255) WAS EXCELLENT. HE DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM ALMOST IMMEDIATELY (MAIN CIRCUIT BOARD FRIED), RAN OUT TO ACQUIRE PARTS, HAD THE BOARD BACK AT MY HOUSE, INSTALLED AND HEAT GOING WITHIN AN HOUR. HE WAS POLITE, COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL AND CLEAN. HE ALSO DIAGNOSED AN EXHAUSTER PROBLEM (NON-CRITICAL) AND ORDERED THE NEW PART FOR ME. ALL TOLD I WOULD'VE HAD TO PAY $1900 BUT FOR THE HOME COMFORT PLAN. MY BILL TODAY, $0. EARLIER THIS SUMMER THE COMPRESSOR WENT ON MY A/C - ANOTHER $900 THAT I DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY. I RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WITH A HOUSE OLDER THAN 3 YEARS TO SIGN UP FOR THE HOME COMFORT PLAN. IVE BEEN ON FOR 2 YEARS, TOP PLAN WITH MAINTENANCE PACKAGE - $30/MONTH. MAINTENANCE SERVICE ON A FURNACE ONE TIME IS $240, A/C ABOUT $200. THE WAY I SEE IT, I'M AHEAD $180 PER YEAR ON ANNUAL MAINTENANCE ALONE LET ALONE THE $2800 IN REPLACEMENT PARTS AND REPAIRS...

    Water Heater Repair

    My water heater stopped heating. My calls to Reliance were met with very friendly operators who tried over the phone to help me "fix" the problem. When that didn't work they promised a service man for the next day. True to their word, first thing the next morning, Jason Mitruk was at my door. He assessed the problem immediately and installed a new valve (or something) that was needed. Within 15 or 20 minutes he had my water heater repaired and then patiently instructed me how to set the water temperature. May wife and I are seniors and we feel very blessed to have such excellent and reliable backup to help us through these problems. Thanks, Jason and "Reliance" for your kind and professional help!

    Furnace replacing

    Our furnace was getting old and the water is starting to look yellow and dirty. So we called Reliance and they send the most wonderful gentlemen to help us with our problem. The technician Kazem Ariajam (Company: Petroair Energy) worked in a difficult environment (our basement is really crowded), for over 10 hours nonstop. We are so grateful that Kazem and his partner came because they really did everything they could.

    Home comfort plan

    Never get a home protection plan. The bills are different every month. When you call into their head office they switch you around from dept to department. Absolute frustration! BEWARE!!!! Do not use!

    Complete solution for heating and cooling

    Coldest day of the winter yet and against all odds my furnace stopped working with no heating at home. With 2 young kids, I was stressing out and made a call to Reliance Home Comfort. Darius Chichgur came home as an Angel in disguise to help me, and was very articulate in him recommendations. I never felt as being sold but was more like a gentleman agreement followed by a needs assessment. I would like to thank Reliance and Darius in particular for the great support. Highly recommend Reliance for all of your home comfort needs.
