    Service - hot water tank

    Our hot water tank stopped working last night and Joe Green was the technician came to get it repaired. His job was done quick and neat. Great job Joe! You deserve BIG Thanks! James / Richmond Hill

    Water heater replacement

    We needed a new water heater and decided to try Reliance - great decision on our part. Paul (our rep) was fabulous! Very polite, courteous and helpful. Highly recommend Reliance if you are in the Brampton area ask for Paul - he is awesome!

    Water tank rental

    RELIANCE is NO WHERE NEAR RELIABLE! Do not rely on them for a water heater, especially if your furnace is tied into the hot water tank. If the tank fails, you will have no heat as well and this is not a company where you want to be reliant on both water and heat. Terrible service from both Reliance Comfort the contractor, Canadian Air Systems, that they utilize. My water heater is an integral part of my furnace and no hot water = no heat. In the last week of November, my water heater failed 3 times in the same week meaning no hot water for showers, dishes etc. and no heat for 3 separate occasions in the same weak in sub zero temperatures. Each time getting a service technician from Canadian Air Systems took a full 24 hours to arrive and many phone calls. I lost 3 days of work to wait for the technician and the root cause of the problem was never diagnosed properly. SImple answers like a dirty sensor and loose wires made up two service calls and the last diagnostic is a faulty gas valve - which I am not confident will fix the issue. Superficial diagnostics which allow technicians to get in and out quickly and charge their fee resulted in my not getting resolution to the issue even after several calls and days of suffering in the cold. Long wait times on the phone to speak to an agent, halfway around the world in Manila, and no direct access to a manager made the experience even more frustrating. I would not recommend this company to anyone. If you have a rented tank, I would recommend buying your own - it pays for itself in a few years and will save you the aggravation of relying on this company.

    Service

    Reliance home comfort is very prompt in responding to my reporting of the rental water heater problem. The repair person arrived in our house within 24 hours of our phone call. Thank you for providing such an excellent service.

    Repair Furnace

    I have the worse experience with your company. Every year my furnace stop working and the technician guys dont tell me what is wrong . The service was awful. But today your company send me the best technician. He deserve to be the star. His name is Derek Phung employee # 2393. He was so profesional, he show me the part that was broke in my furnace, also give me a folder to keep all my records from Reliance. He was excllent. I was about to cancel my business with your company but because his great job I changed my mind.

    water tank replacement

    the tek where nice and clean and quick don't believe I should have to pay for the exaust to be replaced since it is a rental unit and the tank is from 2004 thanks great job

    Water heater

    We had no hot water and called reliance home comfort in Whitby.the operator that took the call was understanding and assured us that a tech would arrive between 10-2 .Chris Shaw employee #2472 called 15 minutes before he arrived at noon. Chris quickly diagnosed the check valve as requiring replacement and performed the repair without incident. He was professional and polite we appreciate that he removed his shoes and cleaned the area when he was finished .there was no sign he had been there but we have hot water again. We received a call just after Chris left to make sure things were taken care of to our satisfaction. Great service! John & Suzanne

    Furnace repair

    Pat (employee RCH 1278) arrived quickly and resolved our issue within hours - even with a trip out to Burlington to pick up parts! We are so thankful - a cold cold day to be without heat! I phoned Reliance at 12:45pm and the heat was back on well before 4pm. So impressed! Thank you Pat!

    Water Heater

    2 years ago, they installed a water heater for me. About 6 weeks ago, the local gas provider was inspecting my house, and gave me a RED TAG for improper installation of the water heater (wasn't grounded). Took about 2 hours on the phone to get Reliance to come out and fix it. After the THIRD time, they sent the right technician. He told me that he needs to fill out the RED TAG and send it to the gas provider. I was assured that I have nothing to worry about, as they will take care of everything. Long story short, they never sent it in, and the gas provider has shut of the gas. When I called and asked them why wasn't it done, they said they will look into it, to see if the report was sent in. In the mean time, I've got 90+ y/o grandparents at the house, that I need to send to the hotel, because it's 7C inside the house! Extremely unhappy with the service.

    Repair

    I pay monthly for service plan on my gas furnace. This included yearly maintenance call plus all costs for repairs including parts and labour. Well worth the $14 approx per month. Service people are always courteous, efficient and respond quickly . I would recommend this service plan to everyone, Thanks to Amber employee# 1620 for today's service call!
