    Tyler was awesome!

Tyler was very prompt, professional , and explained things thoroughly. He arranged for Lesa to come and do pricing for new humidifier, which turned out to be a beneficial appointment. Hope he returns in the future!

    Water Heater Replacement

Martin from Reliance was sent to replace our rental water heater and he provided excellent service. He went above and beyond what he was required to do. He was polite, professional and very knowledgeable.

    furnace

I am continually being charged for a rental fee for a furnace that was paid fully at the beginning of 2021. i am still waiting for a refund cheque for monthly rental fees that have been taken from my account for 1.5 years. I submitted the supporting documents on line over 2 months ago and have been in contact with customer service a number of times explaining about the refund that is owed to me. I am very dissatisfied with this service and expect a full refund ASAP

    Replacing my water heater.

I called reliance for a routine maintenance on my water heater due to the fact that I use the water heater as a source of heat for the whole entire house. A technician came (on time) in the first day identified that my water heater is getting up there in age and recommended to have the water heater replaced immediately at no cost. A 50/65 water heater was ordered because I dont use a standard water heater was not in stock. Next day a new technician came in(on time) and installed the new tank. That was completely laid out differently than the old tank and took some incredible plumbing ingenuity to have it all hooked up to the water furnace, gas line and exhaust vent. I do most of my own work but rely on reliance for the security of not having to replace my water heater when I do have a problem and completely impressed with the workmanship the second technician did. All the work was done in my opinion in record time. I simply cannot say enough about the high quality of service I got from that technician very impressed.

    Water heater

Horrible experience. We own a newer home which the hot water tank was on contract with Reliance. The water heater was leaving black residue staining our bath tubs. After 5 or 6 service calls I asked the anode be replaced as it was likely the cause of the issue they finally agreed. Then they start pitching sales add ons and convince my wife while I was at work to upgrade the tank for tankless system, also take it upon themselves to test our water and tell her the water is very bad. They use our kids as a reason to sell her the water filtration system saying it's not good to have your kids bath in this kind of water or even drink it. Due to the sales pitch my wife agrees to sign up for water filtration as any mother wants to protect her kids. I called the city and they sent me the water quality levels and they are all within normal limits and there are zero issues with our water. Since my wife agreed to sign up they installed the system to try it out. First day after install water is pouring from filtration system, they come back next day to fix it, then the day after that, water dripping from ceiling. They come back 2 days later. Now we're on day 4, my wife doesn't like quality of water as it's slimy so she asks salesman to fix it or when can she get it removed. Salesman just says to adjust levels and disregards the question about removal without penalty. Wife contacts salesman a couple days later with same issue with water and to remove it and salesman says to lower filtration levels again, and again ignores questions about removal. Next day wife calla to get it removed from headquarters and they say your trial period has expired. We now have to pay to get it removed $800. Wife asked if she could hire her own technician and return the filters, they say no obviously and now we're out $800. Basically from my perspective they convince you to buy products in order to sign up for services with "trial period", delay long enough so they can still make money in the end if client doesn't want their systems. I would avoid this company at all costs, they are in the taking money business from honest people regardless of their website stating 100% customer satisfaction guarantees. Also technicians are not very qualified to be honest 2 leaks in 2 days from pex water lines is quite poor quality in my opinion. Side note: During high covid infection rates throughout the country, technicians are wearing masks on their chins.

    Water heater service

Water heater with serious bad leaks in the rusty inlet and outlet pipes. Called for service Feb. 25 and was told they could only come in on March 4 and that I would to pay for plummer to come in and make sure it was the pipes going into the heater. I pleaded with them to come sooner has I have to children and I had to turn off heater as it was pouring out water. This to no avail. I went and bought a new water heater and had it installed. I paid Reliance $73.50 in cash on March 4 for removal of old heater and a bill was submitted to me saying that the pick up was not paid for (this still in process of being rectified). Too much money for rental. Buy water and install it as it will save you a lot a money in a long run. When I called customer service this morning to address this issue it took 22 minutes to reach a service rep. IN GENERAL REALLY BAD SERVICE.Word Count: 177

    Central Air conditioning

Couldn't ask for better or more qualifying people to fullfil my request. The installation went well and they kept me informed as to what they were doing. The Home comfort Advisor was friendly and helpful and did a follow up after the installation. I would certainly use there services again
