    Annual furnace inspection

I recently signed up for Home Comfort maintenance program for gas furnace (owned) and water heater (rented through Reliance). I called Reliance to perform annual service check on my furnace and water heater. There were no problems with either. The contractor was Charlie Murray A.W. Heating and Cooling in the Prescott area. Mr. Murray contacted me by telephone and said he would call back and arrange an appointment time.. He never called back, and I forgot about it for a time. My husband finally called Reliance again, and I believe he stated he was upset with the service. He made an appointment for the service check. The Murrays (father and son) came at the appointed time and date. They made no apology for not following up themselves. They conducted their inspection. Made a slight alteration to temperature of hot water heater, and changed the furnace filter. They spent less than 1/2 hr on this maintenance check. Prior to this, I used another company who spent a great deal longer to perform these procedures. I am doubtful that the Murrays did a thorough job, however we continue to have an efficient working furnace and water heater. If an emergency arises, would these men be reliable to call for prompt service?

    Furnace/AC/Humidifier

Had a sales rep to my house to look into replacing my 21 year old furnace and air conditioner. She looked at what I have, verified what I needed and we discussed buying vs renting. I decided upon renting. The next day I had a tech rep in to do some measurements, and the next day my furnace, air conditioner and humidifier were installed. Total of three days from talking to being heated bu my new system. WOW

    Rental

I have been paying for the rental of the furnace for 10 years now and it's still the same cost ?? Tried a few month ago to talk to someone in charge, but no luck. Never had a reply. After 10 years the cost should be reduced for a unit of that age. Very frustrated and thinking of getting out of the agreement

    Water Heater

I lost all hot water pressure in my house this morning, cold water works fine so there seems to be an issue with the tank. Called Reliance and a service technician can't make it until tomorrow, I understand that a company this large gets busy but you would think that they would have enough people on hand to take care of emergencies. The customer service agent on the phone was nice enough and could understand my frustration, but knowing I was angry still tried to sell me the service plan for my furnace/AC. I was not impressed. I think it's about time I bought a hot water heater, it may cost more to fix but this is not worth the frustration and inconvenience.

    furnace

They sent Canadian Air Systems out asap to take out the 10yr old furnance and replace it with a new high efficency one...all done within 3 hours...the work and the men were courtious and very knowledgable... they cleaned up after them selves... I would definately recomend CANADIAN AIR SYSTEMS to all who need help ....

    Furnace

As of right now i am very upset with this company because my furnace broke down last night and i called Reliance this mourning when i woke up and they told me i had to wait for next day for service. Right now my house is really cold beacuse it is a older home. It sucks when i pay my bill always on time and never miss a payment and this is the poor service they give me. If this is how they treat their customers then i would suggest people changing company and not have to put up with this poor service!!

    Customer Service

Reliance phone and set up a yearly service call on our Goodman Furnace.for 27 Mar, Serviceman called and changed to 26 Mar but forgot to bring a filter, DUH, He said he would be back the next day but he failed to show up, wasting a day of mine. I called Reliance and spoke with a man in the Philipenes he was sorry and made an apt for early March 28, again no one show up. I called again and received an apt for Saturday March 30, again a no show. Now I am very frustrated and call Reliance again. This time I spoke with Amanda in the Customer Resolution Dept. Amanda arranged for a Serviceman to install a filter on WO#RNK5479369. Mr Barry Greer arrived promptly and installed the filter in 5 minutes. Both Amanda & Barry were professional, knowledgeable and extremely polite. Both these two employees should be singled out as roll models. Obviously some of your employees need lessons in customer & company protocol. I am very disappointed with Reliance Service. Summer is just around the corner and I dread the service call for our air condition system

    water heater

What a joke, technician (Wally)changed the tank valve with something that looks like my mechaninally impaired buddy made in his garage and the leak was worse when he was done. The second technician told me that the first only did half of the job. Turns out that he fogot to change the pressure relief valve at the same time, AND the new valve that he did install was really loose. Three and a half turns to tighten it.
