    Reliance and Liens

    The man who installed our splits was absolutely amazing. The people who have been billing our account have done so religiously. 215.85 per month. You think you're golden paying your bills. Fast forward to now, trying to buy a house doing great--until the Bank broker tells me there is a lien on my house...for 18, 100. Reliance please EXPLAIN, this tactic...I am beyond angry at how you present as a nice guy when in reality you're hurting people.....................if you wanted to bill me 18, 000 day one maybe you should have done it legitimately but you're getting away with these crusades and the Canadian Government has done ZERO.

    Water heater

    Mr Amiri came on time and he was able to explain to me the products and their uses. He also told me how the work is to be done.Overall , Im satisfied.

    New Furnace Installation

    I got a quote for a new furnace Friday afternoon and had the furnace installed Saturday morning. Everything went smoothly and efficiently. The representatives were friendly and accommodating. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards.

    Furnace

    100% satisfied Jamie is very nice and kind he help us and explains everything clearly even give us discounts. I recommend him. Very friendly guy.

    Electrical issue

    Fixed issues quickly and efficiently. Super friendly and very professional. Claudio and Sam were pleasant to work with and went above and beyond. Would definitely use them again and recommend to others. Thanks guys!

    Water tank

    My tank broke and reliance came to replace it. Then the rent price goes up 12dollor/month without any notice. It is not free for repair so why I rent it. Don't rent tank from them it's waste.

    Electrician Service and water softener service

    Very very disappointed. Im a new customer but their way of solving my concern is very slow. I called multiple times about an update for my recent electrician service but there is NO work has been done. Same as my problem on my recent purchase of water softener, they have not yet contact me to solve the problem.

    Horrible customer service

    I am quite dissatisfied with the service I've received from Reliance. There are 3 groups of tenants in the household and they have had intermittent hot water over the course of the last week and a half. Last week Reliance had sent two hot water technicians to the house and initially said it was an electrical issue causing the breaker for the tank to turn off. We had a Reliance electrician visit the property which they concluded that there is no issue with the electrical and it is in fact a hot water tank issue. Reliance had then sent out another service technician to the property which was supposed to call and explain the situation with a remedy. I followed up for 2 days with customer service and they were unable to locate the file and the technician notes. After being on hold for 45 minutes with customer service I was finally connected with Jennifer who assured me that the issue would be resolved within the day and I would receive a follow up call to explain the situation. I patiently waited for a phone call, but no one has called. My tenants are still without hot water and we are no closer to resolving the issue. I followed up yet again and was told an appointment was made for yesterday November 27th. I am presently on hold for 30 minutes with customer service and they are unable to locate the appointment. I've asked to speak with a manager and have been put on hold for over an hour for them to say they will call me back. Horrible experience thus far.

    Complaint Resolution

    My interactions with Reliance Home Comfort Services and Rental Equipment have been consistently disappointing. The conduct of some of their staff, particularly certain technicians, has been concerning due to their unethical and unprofessional behavior towards customers. While acknowledging that some technicians are commendable in their service, I encountered a regrettable incident in the past. Despite this, I extended another opportunity, only to face a situation where a technician departed without resolving the issue, leaving equipment exposed and water running. This led to a flood in my basement, resulting in damage to carpets and other belongings. My attempts to address these issues with Reliance have been met with extensive delays, prolonged waiting times, and inconsistent information provided by various representatives. After several weeks, I received a single email contact, but subsequent attempts to communicate and seek resolution have gone unanswered, despite multiple reminders. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to thoroughly evaluate the contractual terms and reliability before entering into any agreements. Verbal assurances seem to differ from actual practices, which can lead to misunderstandings and disappointments for customers.
