    Water heater repair

    Very happy with Jerry NWG. On time and professional. Explained what the issue was and gave advice how to prevent the same thing occurring in the future. Will certainly use again.

    Service

    I have reliance rental for over 5 yrs no problem . Its on rental service . For the first time i had to call in for no heat/hot water . Its saturday and i waited till next morning after doing reset. They can't sent tech as no one is available until monday. Absolutely frustrated as i offered if i can approach local tech and have it looked after immediately as we have senior citizen at home with heart condition to be looked after. Typical customer service script with denial read by supervisor and employee. I am giving 3 starrating of 6 because product is excellent but its' service which matter the most. I called in twice today to see if situation change but they didn't bothered to talk to scheduler or planner . I also ask If some one who can help me over phone? No one to help. I try to schedule service online but not working and no one to help for online account reset because it's Sunday.... I think they need to increase service staff on week end and holidays as family stay home reason of more service breakdown .

    Furnace Repair Insurance

    RHC offered me "furnace protection" for ~$15 per month. I was skeptical, but since they were offering a month free, I thought I would take it and then cancel it after the month. Well, yesterday our furnace stopped working. Time to give this "furnace protection" a spin. I phoned early Saturday morning, by mid day, they had a tech here, by evening we were nice and comfy again. The parts alone cost $1100..no idea on the labor. You know how much I paid? $0!!!!!!! I haven't even paid for the first month of protection yet!!!! The appointment rep was awesome! Darren was awesome! the protection plan is awesome!!!! 10/10. We need to replace our AC, I was gonna go with Action Furnace. I definitely will be sticking with RHC for all my HVAC needs from here on in.

    Water Heater Repair

    Our water heater stopped working on Thursday's night and I booked for a service appointment on Friday morning between 7.00am and 11.00am. The technician called me around 9.00am but at that time I was not at home. I told him that I would be home within 10 minutes but he never waited for me. I then had to rebook for another appointment and the latest available was from 8.00am to 10.00am on Sunday. Even though it was bit tough to wait without hot water for two days (especially with the current cold weather) I booked that appointment since I didn't have any other option. Today (Sunday) I got a call from Jerry (NWG) at around 9.00am and he arrived at around 9.10am. He checked our water heater and showed me the red flashing light on the panel. He explained that if it is flashing, that means something is wrong. Then he checked the gas burner and cleaned up both the ignitor and the burner. Then he went on checking the motor and found it was faulty. He replaced the motor with a new one and now everything seems to be working as usual. I didn't pay anything for this service and /or for the parts as I am covered with Reliance Rental / Protection program. If not I would have had to pay something around $316.00 for this repair. Jerry is very knowledgeable and professional. He definitely exceeded my expectations. Even though I was little frustrated with the response of the previous service person (who came on Friday) I gave Jerry 10 out of 10 as he did a great job and made my day. Thank you so much Jerry for a job well done. Please do keep up your great work.

    Leaking Hot Water Tank

    After 2 previous cancelled appointments with little or no notice James L (2881) arrived. He advised us we needed a new hot water heater and he was unable to install one. He booked another appointment for an install and left (which would of been 5 days without hot water). He called back within an hour to advise he was coming back with John S (1485) who was on a day off to install a new hot water heater. Not happy with Reliance but I am very impressed with James L (2881) and John S (1485) who went above and beyond to make sure we had hot water after 3 days of doing without. Thank you very much James and John

    New furnace and A/C rental and installation

    2 weeks ago I had a new furnace and A/C unit installed in my home by Reliance Home Comfort. They did an excellent job and had it all done in less than 8 hours. The salesperson was excellent as well when this was arranged. I am very happy with everything that they did and am now enjoying the peace of mind that all of my heating get and cooling needs are now taken care of. And one more thing, I am not in St. Johns, but Caledonia, Ontario.

    Quick and very personable service by Ross

    We had a big leak in our water heater. Ross Koopman was very fast and courteous. He explained the problem To great deal so I understood what was going on. Thanks Ross!

    New furnace

    The two guys that came in to install my new furnace were great. Nice guys who did a great job and they were quick and efficient. Chris and Andrew thanks so much. I have heat again. Lol

    Hot Water Tank

    I've have had a reoccurring problem with my hot water tank. The code (79) represents a water sensor leak. Several technicians looked at it. They clean it up and flush the system. We are good again but only for a short while. Finally, Arash Setayesh came in a week ago. Instead of treating the symptoms, he got to the root of the problem. As it turns out, there is a part that had a slight crack in where water leaks that ultimately sets off the hot water. Arash has ordered the part. It arrived the other day. Will place a call to have a technician come and install it. Hope that will finally put an end to this ordeal. A big thanks to Arash for taking a few extra minutes. This is what I consider great customer service.

    Furnace and air conditioner

    Furnace and AC unit needed replacement. Reliance was so honest. Found out my AC was too big for the house. I got the best sales rep, best products and best installation team! Very clean, professional and courteous. What a delight! Great company. I love and enjoy their products.
