    The service we received from Warren Lavin was very prompt and efficient. The call centre took our information and also were very efficient in passing this along to your serviceman. She mentioned that he would probably be out here in the afternoon but he arrived in the morning much to our surprise and had us up and running with a new hot water tank in an hour.

    Install furnace

    I had a furnace installed on the 6th of February. The appointment was at 10 in the morning. The work crew was punctual and actually showed up a few minutes early. Russ and Zachary from Ontario Mechanical Services did a very good job installing the furnace. I thank them for their effort and highly recommend them to others.

    Furnace Diagnostic

    I noticed that my furnace was not doing the proper cycle of running then stopping after it reached the desired room temperature setting. I looks like it will run for a very short period of time, stop then run again. Decided to call Reliance around 10:30 am on a Saturday and was told that the technician will come between 1 to 6pm. Got a call from Gabriel (Reliance Service Technician) around 2:30pm and within 10 minutes, he was checking my furnace. The technician explained the things he need to check. He did some part cleaning, tested the efficiency and carbon monoxide emission level. I observed that the technician did his job in a professional manner and this makes me feel assured that he knows what he is doing. Now my furnace is back to normal. I will not hesitate to recommend Reliance for this type of work.

    furnace malfunction

    My furnace was emitting a burning metal odour yesterday morning. We couldn't figure out what it was. Gary Johnston from the Cambridge branch of Reliance came out. He was patient, friendly and most importantly a very good problem solver. There are many technicians who can change up parts but, fewer who can problem solve and figure out what is actually wrong. Thanks for fixing the problem Gary.

    rental furnace install

    Dan & Chris from Reliance Home Comfort were very polite and informative. Kept me in the loop about the whole procedure, and even went beyond to rectify another issue regarding our water tank. When they were done, the house may have been even cleaner than prior to furnace replacement. Dan made sure that we understood the operation of the humidifier, the control of the NEST thermostat (both manually and through app on my cellphone). So far, we are very happy with the new furnace.

    Furnace problem

    Experiencing noises from furnace, sounded a bit like a bearing. Appears just vibration of sheet metal/fan. Service man, MArio Cirelli very efficient, wore booties in house and did thorough check and explained findings.

    Furnace

    I just want the company to know they have awesome professionals working for them. My furnace died on Saturday. I had a new one in place by Monday. Thanks to Jason R the sales representative ,Randy W and Derek C the installers . I am now enjoying a warm comfortable home. The sales representative made sure we kept warm over the weekend by dropping off a couple of heaters. He was constantly in contact with us, wanting to know if we needed anything. He also followed up after the furnace was installed. Thanks guys, keep up the good work.

    Water heater

    Unfortunately took 3 service calls to eventually arrive at the need to replace the water heater. Having had enough if fruitless service calls earlier in the week, Wes C arrived on time and managed to end my horrible week on a positive note. He was efficient and knowledgeable and didn't mind explaining and answering all my questions. I must add that all the service techs were great and did their best to try and fix the perceived problem. Thanks Wes. Great Customer Service!!

    Happy with employee, not company

    When we initially called to get our water heater replaced, a guy came out to take a look and measure the area, but all he did was take a look and say 'there's no way we're getting the tank out of that small area. None of our guys will do it.... And then he left. After many conversations with the company they finally call someone all the way from Stoney point to come out. Mark Chevalier (member 0245) was fantastic! He didn't take a look and run. He said he's going to do everything he can to help me get hot water again. And he did! All by himself. This man was incredibly polite and had great work ethic. It's a shame that the first guy was either lazy or just didn't feel like taking a tough job. Thank you Mark! I hope you get recognized for your hard work by your company.

    Furnace repair after hours

    Norm was very knowledgable, courteous and punctual. He found the problem in 5 minutes and had the repairs completed in about an hour. He is an ideal serviceman. We are delighted with his skills and the company!
