    AC purchase and install

    Very impressed with Russell Summerfield and his colleague Brian. They were punctual, courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable. When my AC arrived; it was too big for my house. I knew it and so did Russell and Brian. They not only helped me sort it out; they drove to the warehouse, picked up a new one, came back and installed it. Install was done in a timely and efficient manner. Very happy with their service!

    Service Call for Tankless Water Heater

    Peter C #5278 was very professional, knowledgable and caring during his service call. He was respectful of my home and took great pride in explaining in detail what he was doing and why the problem occurred. His caring approach was very refreshing and appreciated.

    Water heater not working

    Very pleased with service call.Technician Christian Janssens was excellent.He was on time,very polite,nicely dressed,respectfull of our house,tidy and efficient.Was our first experience having work done by Reliance and we could not be more pleased.our pleasure to write a review.Peggy and David

    Heating & Air Conditioning

    Back in February, our furnace broke down and we called Reliance to have a technician assess the situation. The technician recommended replacing the unit rather than trying to mend it. The sales associate then said we MUST replace our air conditioning as well. We did the buy-out option and the sales associate said there would be a $500 rebate. After installation, another sales associate said the rebate for our particular model was only $250 but they would honour the verbal offer of the original sales person. After a lot of back-and-forth, we only received $250 and the original sales person never responded to any of our follow-ups. In July, the brand new A/C broke down and started leaking (damaging our floors in the basement). When we first called, Reliance said our unit was no longer under warranty! We reached out to the manager who helped us confirm that we were in fact under warranty. Now, only 3 months later (October), the A/C is faulty again and we were supposed to have a technician show up between 7am and 11am. It’s 3pm, and guess what, no one has showed and after a number of calls to chase again, they are saying a technician will arrive at 5pm. We have no faith in this company and we want to warn anyone considering Reliance to think twice. We are giving our experience a 1 star only because there is one associate there, Paul, who is nice enough to listen to our issues.

    annual burner and air conditioner service

    We recently had our annual service of our furnace and air conditioner. While there was some initial confusion on the service date, the service was completed on Oct 14th by Paul Latour. Paul did a commendable job, arriving within the time window indicated for the service, and was extremely cordial and friendly throughout his visit. His service and testing appeared to be very thorough and provided great feedback on the performance of the equipment in our home and suggestions for maintaining optimum performance from the equipment.     Furnacerepair & maintenance

    We had the technician Chris B# 907 out to service our furnace on October 13th 2015. He was punctual, courteous, friendly and explained what was done and gave us information on ways to save cost including his personal advice, that based on the age of our equipment it is not cost effective and suggested we speak to a sales rep to consider the promotion sales plan offered in October & cost of renting or purchasing new energy efficient equipment versus using our older equipment which we own and are paying for a maintenance service plan. We have been clients of this company for many years, not always confident about the level of technicians experience, but felt Chris has demonstrated a level of experience and went beyond our expectations. Thank you Chris for using shoe covers, and for explaining & answering my many questions; your company is lucky to have you and I wish you the best in your career.

    new furnace

    Michael the sales rep presented different options available to us. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, He answered all our questions. The installers were also very good and punctual. We had problems with the thermostat but that was resolved quickly. Overall, an excellent company.

    Annual furnace/AC check up

    I was really impressed with Peter G. . He was on time, courteous and very professional. He took the time to explain what he was doing and answered all my questions. He genuinely came across as a person who takes pride in his work and wants to do it well.

    Water heater repair

    No hot water first thing in the morning! Yikes! A call to Reliance and only 40 minutes later the Technician is at our door. I'm impressed. The Technician, James Walton is courteous, well organized and capable. He explains the cause of the water heaters malfunction, answers my question as, makes the necessary repairs and is on his way. Now I am really, really impressed! James is an excellent ambassador for Reliance. I wish all service people surpassed my expectations the way he did. Thank you Reliance and thank you James. Top marks!

    New water heater and vent.

    Brad (3409), was punctual and friendly. He explained thoroughly why we needed a new vent system. (The old one was not up to code and could have caused carbon monoxide poisoning!) He even enjoyed our excitable dogs!
