I am very sorry to inform I had very bad experience with Reliance Home comfort.
Sales Contract signed on June 10, 2015 for the installation of Goodman Central Air Conditioning unit. It is written in contract following equipment will be installed. GSX16 18_ _ , CAUF Coil and Thermostat 505. Model # of AC written incorrect
First of all capacity of the unit was not informed by the Home comfort Advisor during his two visit. This is the basic information it should provided to Purchaser. Model Number was written incorrect in Sales Contract.
The day of installation June 13, 2015 CAUF Coil was not provided and some other company coil brought in to install without my knowledge. Accidentally I checked the model of coil and found incorrect. I showed to them then they realize they brought wrong coil. Home comfort Advisor informed me coil will be installed in any other day and allow them to complete rest of work. Outside wiring looks very ugly. Technician did the wiring without asking me how I want wiring to be done. When I asked him he said I should tell him before. I was expecting he should ask me. It was told by Home comfort Advisor that technician will take permission before proceed to next step.
Thanks for Air Conditioning Unit Cover. It is written in Sales Contract Thermostat 505 will be provided but thermostat not provided.
Home comfort Advisor informed me that technician will come on Wednesday June 17, 2015 to install CAUF Coil and finish rest of installation. Home comfort Advisor informed me on Tuesday that technicians are busy and they are not able to come on Wednesday. He informed technician will come on Saturday June 20, 2015 between 1:00-3:00 pm. Technician arrived on time 1:00 pm. He brought the right coil CAUF Coil. During the installation of coil he realized he don’t have other accessories to connect coil to copper coil. When technician brought the CAUF Coil he didn’t know what other part he needs to connect two coils. He pulled out the CAUF coil from furnace and took it back. It is week now from June 13 to June 20 installation not yet completed.
After all of this happened I am very disappointed with the company.
I choose Reliance Home Comfort from several other companies because of its good reputation and name of company.
At the back of Sales Contract Reliance Home Comfort claimed 1) Comfort Guarantee, 2) $500 No Frustration Guarantee and 3)100% Money back Guarantee.
Reliance Home Comfort FAILS to comply all the claims.
I don’t need Air Conditioning Unit any more. I want me Money Back. Uninstall the unit and take it back. I gave enough time to install the Air Condition unit.
As of today July 03, 2015 issue still unresolved. Home reliance comfort staff contacted but didn't do any follow up.
