Robbie did a great job renovating our bathroom. He did the job both on time and on budget which were our top two criteria. He was very responsive to all of our questions and concerns, and didn't cut any corners. We were very satisfied and happy with his work and would recommend him to our friends! Thanks Robbie

I have worked with Robbie for the last three years, hiring him on behalf of my clients. I am in the Design Industry and rely on solid, professional trades to perform the work on time and on budget. I hired him most recently to perform some tricky custom tiling on the job and was once again impressed with his professionalism, quality of work and problem solving abilities. This guy is terrific. We had him come in to move the laundry room from the basement to the mudroom - that had no plumbing/electrical roughed in. He also installed our central vac and repaired our kitchen faucet for us. Rob was honest, on-time, clean, quiet, fast, and efficient. He even finished the project earlier than anticipated. What more can you ask for in a contractor? We're hoping to invite him back to finish our basement one day soon. THANKS VERY MUCH, ROB!

I had my bathroom renovated by Rob at Raakss. He's a one man outfit who did everything in less time than I would have expected. The previous bathroom was a real mess, and so I appreciated that Rob gave me an all inclusive quote, so I didn't have to worry about any surprises once the walls were down. The bathroom was tiny, and in a heavily used portion of my century old Victorian, but Rob gutted it with a minimum of mess, and then did a really classy, nice reno on it. Rob even helped me and gave advice with some other work I was doing at the time. When an unrelated plumbing disaster appeared in another part of the house, he was on hand to talk to the plumbers and give me advice about what to do. He finished in less time than expected, and went upstairs and installed some hardwood floors in another room for far less than ¸^competitor name removed -- Ed wanted to charge, and in far less time. As time went on, and a few small problems presented themselves with the bathroom, Rob came back in and fixed them free of charge. Rob is a nice guy and I would hire him again.

Robbie [last name removed -- Ed] was very accommodating throughout. He took the time to visit my house in downtown Toronto to provide me with a quote for the work I required to be done. To my surprise, he was not reluctant to take the job even though it consisted of odd bits and pieces. He arrived on time and worked efficiently and quickly. He was again accommodating when I had to ask him to take apart the faucet and reinstall it due to my own error.

Rob completely gutted our 75 year old bathroom and built a completely new one with infinite skill and patience. Some components were delivered late, one was not the right size and one was defective (none of this was in any way Robbie's fault) but he stayed cheerful and saw the job through right to the end. Robbie had really creative solutions to the little challenges that come up when you're putting an ultra-modern 21st century bathroom into a small space that was built in the '30's. We now have a gorgeous bathroom that belongs in a magazine. Robbie did some additional painting in the house afterwards and I can say that he is the cleanest (drip and splatter free) painter I've ever seen. We plan on hiring Robbie to do more work as soon as we're able. I'll mention also that he was a delight to have around the house with his great attitude and we had no qualms whatsoever in giving him the run of the house whether or not we were around.

Robbie worked quickly, thoroughly and professionally. He gutted the bathroom completely and made it into a beautiful space. We couldn't be happier with his level of skill and professional service. We gave him a key and he was in and out in under two weeks. He was always available for questions and follow-up throughout and after the work. We are thrilled with our beautiful bathroom, based perfectly on our designer's specs.

We had what we called a "silence of the lambs" basement before Robbie came and worked his magic. We did not have the budget to dig down and were worried about a huge heating duct that ran down the middle of the basement. Robbie had a fantastic solution that not only increased the size of the basement, it made the whole room warmer, both phsyically and aesthetically, and we are just thrilled. He took the smallest, darkest corner of the basement and put in a beautiful bathroom in a space that looked like it was beyond repair. We are so impressed with Robbie. He had excellent problem solving skills, takes great pride in his work, and finished up to the very last detail. We continue to reommend Robbie to friends. Thanks Robbie!!

Found RAAKSS on this website and chose them based on the positive reviews. Rob was friendly, helpful, informative, professional, hardworking and quick. He helped do many odd jobs and finishing touches for our new home. The jobs included...Installing trim on skylights, installing ceiling lights, installing a kitching faucet, installing light switches (with timers and motion sensors). We are planning to have Rob back to help install the glass for a shower and mount a ceiling fan. We would have no problems recommending Rob's services.
