The A1 was very professional and knowledgeable, starting with their sales rep Gord, the installers Perry and Chris and the quality control from Garry. The installation was completed in one day, and it went smoothly with no mess left behind. I have subscribed to A1's Supercare program for our old furnace and AC system for 15 years, and will continue to subscribe to their annual maintenance program.

The crew showed up early and installed the air conditioner before noon. They put mats down from the door to the basement; not a spec of dirt in the house.

The completed energy rebate paperwork was mailed to me and all I had to do was sign and forward the rebate.

After looking into several air conditioning companies in the Mississauga area, I decided to contact A1 because many of my friends had a great experience with their service. I called them in for an estimate and Scott showed up on short notice. They were very professional, friendly, and took the time to explain the benefits of each one of their lennox and carrier models. I was very pleased with the service and can see why my friends spoke highly of them. I would recommend A1 to my family and friends because they really live up to their great reputation.

Booking and confirming the appointment to get my furnace cleaned was easy. The technician was prompt and the cleaning was done quickly and thoroughly; however, when I asked about my humidifier hose that was leaking (all it needed was to be realigned), he told me he would have to charge extra to redo the whole thing. When I suggested it just needed some force to fix it, he seemed unimpressed and defensive about it, but he ended up doing it -- and no more leaks. Other than that, I'd use A1 again next year.

As this company installed my furnace I went with them for their warranty protection plan. I didn't need to use it until this winter when the furnace stopped working twice. The repair men were fast, courteous and most importantly located and fixed the problem quickly.

In my area there were a ton of advertisements for replacing your furnace with discounts etc. and I kept hearing about shady businesses doing bad jobs.

I found out about A1 from a friend, and they are an excellent company all around! They gave me confidence that they had the latest equipment / methods and their service men were very courteous to our family. The installation went faster than I thought, and they didn't make a mess at all (which I really appreciate).

We chose A1 after receiving a few quotes for a new furnace and air conditioner. Their price came in below the others, but their service was what sealed the deal. Our sales rep was very friendly and prompt when he came for the estimate. He was thorough with his details, but not pushy. Installation was a breeze. Two guys finished the job in half a day and both the yard and basement were left in immaculate condition. As if this wasn't enough, they even did all the paperwork for our rebates. Truly a full service experience. They came highly recommended and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others as well.

We were very satisfied with this company until we received an unsolicited invoice for wrrantee service one year later.
Salesperson Jeff was prompt and professional. We obtained three estimates and his was lowest. The installers were prompt, efficient and left the area clean. I did require two additional calls to straighten the air conditioner.
The shock came one year from installation when I received a numbered invoice requesting a payment for a service call to maintain my warrantee.
I reviewed my documentation to confirm that I had a warrantee with Lennox and had not signed any contract for an additional warrantee.
I called A1 and was asked to write an email to Peter. He did admit this was an added feature provided by A1 and apologized for the lack of clarity.
My concern remains that he did not indicate that they would cease using this very deceptive practice. Therefore be on the alert for this if you are using this company.
