Hometurf Lawn Care Service

I am a senior with a large weedy lawn. The experts say not to spray your lawn for weeds when it is going to rain, yet Hometurf continues to schedule my spraying when it is raining. Needless to say, not a single weed has died. I paid the first of two installments for a season's worth of service and extra to have my patio and walkways sprayed. Hometurf maintains that that they will not spray for weeds if the grass is "too long" yet only provides one day's notice that they are coming to spray. This does not give me time to cut all of the grass on my large property. I called today and politely explained that I needed more than one day's notice and that it is useless to come out and spray when it was raining but was told there was nothing they could do due to their "scheduling issues". I said that the status quo was not working for me and I asked to cancel my service. The clerk spoke with the manager while I waited and told me I would have to pay them another $31 to settle my account I asked if they could come out and respray the weeds that have not died and the Manager said they could not do that for me since I am cancelling my contract. They have not delivered on their promise to treat my weeds and they are refusing to respray unless I give them even more money. I have told them I am unsatisfied and would like to cancel my contract so why are they asking me to pay good money after bad? I thought I could cut my losses but now they want even more money.
