Fixed a problem no one else cared to
We had a heat pump installed during a reno four years ago. The initial installer was in over his head and the system never worked well. Over the years I had numerous companies come to take a look, they charged me for a few hours of time and left, never to be heard from again. I contacted the manufacturers of both the heat pump and the control board. They refused to speak to a consumer, instructing us to find an installer.
We lived with a malfunctioning system for four years, until it finally died completely. The manufacturers were less than helpful once again. We found Mckinnon heating somehow. They could come check it out, but sent their senior tech since it was complicated. They pushed hard with the manufacturers to get the issue resolved. The owner took a personal interest to ensure a fix. They got someone from the supplier to come and help install. Everything works as designed. They were very reasonable with the labour hours charged.
I am extremely satisfied and cannot recommend Mckinnon heating enough. Everyone there has been nothing short of professional, helpful, and friendly.
