Oven Part Replacement

Paid in full for part replacement and told 6 weeks for arrival. 5 months later and no new information and now they are avoiding my calls and emails. No communication on new ETA for part replacement. Untrustworthy .

Fridge servicing

Our fridge broke down, they sent a technician who was not trained nor qualified for the service. Spent over 2 hours assessing the cause while swearing. We called TAS and specifically asked them not to send the same technician in once the part comes in and they sent the SAME untrained incompetent technician that’s only been with them for 3 weeks. He left and the fridge was still not working. I called to complain and their customer service is not much better either. I waited for over 35 minutes to speak to a representative. Once they answered they hung up as I said “hi” because I’m assuming their shift was over as it was 5:20. I called back and the automated voice message said the office was now closed.

The absolute worst

High diagnosis fee. Caused leak in washer leading to slow forming flood in laundry room after repair. Parts not installed properly as there is still noise and appliance is still not working 7 months later. All employees and manager deny faulty install, damage caused, or errors made.

Bosch Dishwasher fix "NOT"

This company did a recall repair a few years back and everything went perfect. Started getting different error codes, so I called them thinking they represent Bosch. They Don't. Tech came to try to figure and it out and didn't. $120+. He went back to the shop and they said it was the pump/heater. Charged me up front for the part and when it came in they came back and installed it for a cost of $165+tax. Was told I had 90 day warranty and after 34 days the error codes started to repeat. I called and was told I would have to pay for another service call because the 90 days was on the part only. 30 days on the service call. Well you pay your money and you take your chances and on this company Don't.

Washer repair

I had a horrible experience with this terrible company and would never recommend them to anyone. I called to have my washer fixed after getting an error code. After 3 technician visits where the tech insisted that my machine running on empty was « how it’s designed », I was finally given a different, competent tech upon requesting one. He correctly diagnosed the issue and said a valve needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, by the time this happened I had 5 days until my « 30 day labour guarantee » was up, and sure enough, TAS gave me the run around until day 31 and sent me a new invoice for labour. Now I am out $300+ and my machine is not fixed. They are dishonest, have no pride in their work and should not be in business.

Range fan repair

Emeel and his assistant were very nice, respectful and professional. The job took very long otherwise I'd give the company 5 stars. The cost exceeded what I was quoted. I am happy it is completed.

Stay away from this company

Had TAS in to repair my dishwasher. Terrible customer service and i was overcharged. Have put in several calls to the manager, and NEVER received a response (terrible customer service). They told me the problem was the pump. They ordered and installed it and i was having the EXACT same problem (exact error code) after they "fixed" it. The technician then said it "might" be the sensor but that would be an additional cost. I didn't want to pay more if he wasn't 100% sure that this was the problem (especially seeing as i had already replaced a pump that obviously did not need to be replaced). Was quoted $120 for labour and was charged $160. When i questioned the technician, he said it was out of his hands and he was only following orders from the office. When i called the office to see why i was overcharged, she asked "why i paid it" if i felt i was overcharged. Sorry...didn't feel like arguing with a strange man alone in my house. Thought the company would take care of the overcharge but they did not. Again, terrible customer service and i paid almost $500 for a dishwasher repair that still isn't fixed!!!!

Great Company and Service

Thank you to Toronto Appliances Service for their extremely professional and prompt services.

My refrigerator suddenly stopped operating, and I called Toronto Appliances Service asking for a repair consultation. Not only was my request last minute, it was also during the Easter long weekend and in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite this, Toronto Appliances Service still arrived very quickly and provided professional, friendly, knowledgeable and honest service. My issue was quickly resolved and I was very happy with the quality of service that I received!

This is wonderful company and I highly recommend them. Thank you!

Washer, front door load belly and door latch replacement

I called the service and placed the order for the front door washer belly. The technicians came in the next days. The belly was placed properly but the washer did not start. They called the office and made a note, saying that the door latch may need replacement. The brought in another technician, Vasil, who was very punctual and knowledgeable. Once the door latch was replaced, he tested the washer and it worked just fine.
I would recommend this service and especially the technician who did his job in no time.
And the office staff was very prompt in returning and making calls to arrange the day and time of the service and providing the invoices electronically.
