highway rubbery!!! never call this company. you will be sorry. after they fixed it, just two hours later it happen again. no warrant what so ever they took a money, that's it. after 4times of calling the office what I heard is : you have to change whole hot water tank, I will give you special price 1550.00!!! of course there is no warranty at all!!! I call other plumber, he checked and say there is nothing wrong, just need put fire on it. he turn on the fire . I think plumber from this company just change the switch for nothing and ripped me off 207 dollar. the plumber.'s name is Mike Massullo. Avoid this man!!! never call this company!!!! it's like your car battery is gone, and the mechanic said : you have to buy a new car!!!"

We call them over to fix a leak on our bathroom faucet and they charge us close to $400, and leave without any care ! The hot water tank turned of because he shutoff the main valve. It is a safety feature a plumber should know. And they told us we will get charge again to turn the water tank on! We paid $400 for a $10 gasket replace without
hot water!

We had the worst experience with Somerville and would not recommend them to anyone. I actually complained to the Better Business Bureau about this company when they failed to fix my leaky shower head; however, I've just discovered Somerville still defiantly displays a BBB rating of A+ on their site. The reason I was looking at this again, when the original complaint was made in March 2016, is because recently we finally got tired of listening to the shower head drip, and called someone else to fix it. This second plumber came and did EXACTLY the same job as Somerville - he replaced the cartridge. But this time, he really fixed it.

So either Somerville did a shoddy job, or the cartridge they inserted was defective. Whatever the reason was, it cost us $300-plus dollars and our leaky shower head did not get fixed.

Thank goodness we didn't listen to Somerville's manager, who told us over the phone, without having seen the shower head, that the only fix was now to cut into the tile (!) and remove the whole shower head apparatus. I can't imagine how much that would have cost if we'd taken his advice. As it is, we're out $300+ dollars that we paid Somerville to fix our leak, which they failed to do.

Sommerville & Son Plumbing folks have done an amazing job. When I started to look for contractors for waterproofing - I wasn't expecting much - just the job done. Alex and his team have definitely exceeded my expectations to the point that they got another job to completely replace the main drain in the house. Their expertise, quality of work, integrity and professionalism have definitely exceeded by expectations - they have completed the work exactly on budget, addressed all of my concerns, and were definitely a pleasure to deal with!
I do recommend to choose Sommerville & Son Plumbing above other contractors as they:
- know what they are doing
- their guys do what it takes to get the job done well, are very hardworking and not a bit lazy
- quality and professionalism speak for themselves
