Clearview is sometimes a bit more expensive, but well worth it for their reliability, prompt service, courtesy and the peace of mind--the tech diagnose the issues, explained everything, repaired the toilet issues and replace 3 bathroom faucets.

Heinz was very prompt, personable, efficient and effective and gave me some good pointers about future maintenance. I have a membership with Clearview for a monthly charge so that I don't have to pay the initial call fee and I get a discount on the charges for the work which pays off for the membership

Tony came to do our annual furnace check on our planned service agreement. He was on time, very friendly and did a great job with the furnace tune-up.

We had a furnace breakdown and called ClearView. They were swamped but managed to squeeze us in. It was later in the day when John arrived. John had been to our home in the past. We showed him the furnace and after a bit we got our diagnosis. John gave us 3 separate options. John answered all our questions and did not pressure us into any of the options. Once we chose the option John took care of everything, including arranging for fans to keep us comfortable over the long weekend. John is a true professional and I’d recommend him for any job repair. Staffs are very professional. Called them up & responded quickly. Mr Yamil the technician explained every details of work to be done & even gave options for cost concerns. Work was completed earlier than expected. I am very satisfied.

Upon assessment, the technician quoted $450 for a slow draining bathroom sink and another few hundred dollars for the bathtub, for a grand total of $900+ for the two. When I asked what kind of work he'd be performing for $450, his answer was "to remove the trap and to clear the clog using an auger". We discussed no other complications regarding the clog - just the usual build up (i.e., hair). The technician did not mention any complications regarding the set up. For reference, this was at a new-ish building, just under 4 years old.

I ended up going with a competitor for <$150 for both drains.

I did pay ClearView the service call fee of $70, which I thought was reasonable as it seemed like they had very good dispatch system and as fee was to be waived if I proceeded with the service. On the day of the service, technicians canceled twice after they sent the automated messages saying that they'd arrive in 30-45 minutes. So money not well spent I'd say.

Yamil was very professional, courteous and friendly. The only problem I encountered was the cost of the job. After consulting with Derek, he did give me a price break. Cost me $450.00 for a job that took less time to repair than the assessment and estimate took to prepare. Very pleased with the expertise and cleanliness and respect given by Yamil

A great job by Clear View Services. From the initial meeting to provide us with options until the final cleanup after the work was done, very professional and well-mannered guys. I expect that we will continue working with Clear View Services in the future for our home servicing needs.

On-demand Hot Water Tank Installation: Avoid this company! This job was misquoted and I believe it was intentionally done, in order to win the contract and 'get in the door' . This resulted in significant additional cost as additional work was required, which was not part of the original quote, after the City inspector did not approve the job due to inadequate venting and faulty/dangerous workmanship . This detail should have been included in the initial work order and included in the price. The subsequent additional work took 3 visits to complete, as a result of unprepared workers, resulted in significant additional time and frustration, and was done in an unsafe manner, and without proper equipment. The technician assistant was inexperienced, was unnecessarily put at risk, and was supervised inadequately. There was additional risk to my property/appliances at the time of this job being performed. I am extremely unhappy about this entire process and cannot recommend this company at all.
The new hot water system works great, but this entire experience has been exhausting and a great waste of time.

Asked them to unclog a toilet, told them it was clogged by magazine paper, close to the toilet bend. Charged us 290$ before starting. Didn’t fix it. Wanted 590$ more to fix it. We asked them for refund for not fixing it. Did not comply. Called another plumber who fixed it without a fuss. For about the same
