Asked them to unclog a toilet, told them it was clogged by magazine paper, close to the toilet bend. Charged us 290$ before starting. Didn’t fix it. Wanted 590$ more to fix it. We asked them for refund for not fixing it. Did not comply. Called another plumber who fixed it without a fuss. For about the same

Brutal pricing structure. Today they came to our house. I have used them before and said never again because they ripped me off with asking 800 dollar to augment pipe and the same problem they worked on happened today again. Only this time my husband called them, they asked him 2300 dollar to augment, jetset water down the pipe and replace 1 and half inch p-trap. They were kind enough to ask him 1800 dollar on condition he sign that he will give a good review on google or social media, leave a sign on our yard for 60 days and they have 4 other things from which you have to sign that you will abide by 4 of the 6 choices in order to get this "discount". I always feel done in dealing with them. So very disappointed and feel ripped off.

Seven year-old water tank quit working and we decided to go with a replacement rather than a repair.
ClearView was one of the few companies available to come to the house on a Saturday and was able to do the replacement right away. The quote seemed high but we were assured it was competitive as water tank prices had increased. The work was done and everything is working fine. After discussing the work with friends and neighbours and getting a few quotes from competitors we realized we were over-charged by approximately 50% ($600 - $800). Yes this is ultimately our fault for hiring them, but we had hoped that a company that had been in business for 20 years would competitively price their services. Rather than build their company on repeat business ClearView appears to take the "hit them once and hit them hard" approach. I will definitely look elsewhere for my future plumbing and heating needs.

John did a camera inspection of our main sewer line. Showed us the video and explained the problem. Did a very professional job.
Gave us a number of options to fix the problem.

I was given prompt service when we went through a cold snap and my furnace quit working. Considering I needed a part not readily available and they got me back to heat I'm so grateful.
I would recommend them to anyone wanting honest and reliable service at a fair price.

Thought the issue was due to a starter switch - apparently not! it was due to a crack in the heat exchanger which by Alberta laws meant that the old furnace could not be repaired. Justin helped navigate through the available options and we decided on a new furnace - although an unexpected expense. Although financing was available, decided against this for several reasons and the job was scheduled. Justin was extremely helpful and patient while providing necessary information to make a wise decision. Zak and his buddy arrived for the installation. Very pleasant. Got the work done quickly and efficiently. Provided a walk through and cleaned up really super. At the end, I didn't feel down about getting Clearview to do the job. Very satisfied.

Zak was awesome. I had a slow draining tub where i had tried every home remedy to fix. I decided to vall clearview and i was impressed with the communication with its customers. Zak was able to fix the issue and explained everything as he was working. Thanks zak. Highly recommend

Although Clearview Plumbing is very nice to deal with, I was surprised to start seeing an $11.50 charge against my VISA each month after having them do some service for me. I contacted them and they said when I signed off on the invoice I agreed to a monthly service. I don't recall their serviceman mentioning anything at the time of signing. I also found they are overpriced. After getting a $16K quote to replace my sewer line, I receive 3 other quotes and all of them were at least $6K less. I'm very disappointed as I enjoyed dealing with them, but will be doing business with another company going forward.

My furnace wouldn't ignite so I called Clearview. The gentleman who came was very nice but in the 45 minutes he worked on my furnace he replaced the ignition stick ($50) and the spark wire ($20). He also performed routine maintenace on the furnace. The bill came to... wait for it... $915. That's right, $70 in parts and 45 minutes of labor = $915 when you use ClearView. If you have an excessive amount of money and enjoy significantly overpaying for services, ClearView is for you.

Floyd from Clear View Plumbing arrived on time and quickly got down to work. He outlined a number of options that would meet our needs and clearly went over what each would cost. He also gave us some payment options. Once we decided he performed some of the work and made arrangements for the rest to be done at a later date. Once he completed his work he cleaned up. He was polite, efficient and responsive to all of our questions and concerns.
