Hart's Appliance Services

My family has used Hart's appliance several times, they have always been extremely helpful and resourceful (i.e., advising us on the most cost effective way to fix the problem). Today a service man came to fix my oven range and when he arrived we learned the company can't fix gas stoves. However, he explained the problem to me, advised me on how to fix it, and gave me honest advice. Excellent service for no charge -- I will certainly use Hart appliance in the future.

Some of the worst customer service I've ever seen in my life. Everytime this guy calls me he's extremely rude. Does not call ahead before showing up and is late to appointments. Ignorant. Think twice before hiring them.

I have used Richard for years. He has always been honest and prompt. For instance, he looked at our Bosch dishwasher after it started to leak water. He figured out that the issue is more related to build up rather than any actual seal issue.

Richard's son came on time. He found out what needs to be done in a few minutes. He came back with the new parts. Everything was done promptly and to my satisfaction. Honest guy. Reasonable price.

Richard Hart was on time checked the machine and in a short time had found the problem.
It was a pump problem which was unable to empty the drum and so the cycle never progressed.
Within 20 minutes the problem was fixed and after a short interesting chat, we were done.

I called them and they tried to help diagnose over the phone. Came on time, quickly diagnosed the problem and returned with the required part 2 days later and fixed the dryer. Excellent service, fair price and on time.

I had a leaking fridge and my property mgmt office recommended Richard Hart to me. I called him up and got a response back same day. He came in two days later and in no time fixed the minor leak (blocked drain tube)!

I had Richard Hart come to repair my OLD dishwasher. He first asked me over the phone to make a diagnosis (where is the leak coming from?) as he didn't want me to pay if it wasn't worth fixing. Turned out it was only a hose and he fixed it right away.
Professional and efficient, I would definitely use his service again in the future.

My Whirlpool washer stopped working, and since its lid switch was giving me trouble for a while, I suspected it had finally given up. I called up Hart's Appliance Services and told them about the situation. The appointment was scheduled for the next day and the service man (Richard Hart's son) arrived well on time. He had the right part and all the tools necessary for the job, and it took a little more than 20 minutes to complete the work. Service was great and very professional, they even cleaned the secondary dryer duct filled with lint and corrected the electrical contacts on my stove for free. The service man claimed he had worked for big appliance companies such as GE, Sears and his quick solving of the problem showed that he knew what he was doing. Definitely recommend this place.

I've used Richard several times to install a new dishwasher, repair a dryer and troubleshoot a broken fridge. Richard has a great personality, calm demeanour and often tries to help me troubleshoot the problem over the phone first to avoid having to pay him. He doesn't oversell and actually tries to help you figure out over the phone if your appliance is even worth looking at as opposed to perhaps buying a new one if your old one simply isn't worth repairing. I happily recommend Richard and will be happy to utilize his help in the future if needed.
