Master Drain & Water Works

Vitaly and his team were to replace the old galvanized pipes from the city water main. They showed up on time and ready to go. They were done the job on time and all in the same day. They patched the hole in the ground with soil and gravel as per the agreement.

Then there was a problem. The way the water runs during rain, the flow of water runs perpendicularly to where the gravel finish was. This onslaught of water caused a small hole on the gravel to open up and the stream of water began leaking into the basement. Luckily this was caught and we were able to drain/soak up the water.

I contacted Vitaly immediately and within minutes he called me back. He was at the house within hours to repack the gravel and a few hours after that, his guys came by and did a concrete finish to protect the patch from the water drainage.

I was honestly upset that the gravel opened up. I questioned their work and craftsmanship. However, where the hole was dug to access the pipes logically didn't seem like it would be in the path of water running/draining. It would have been extremely difficult to forsee this issue. Furthermore Vitaly's immediate and swift response was extremely telling of the work him and his team do. Overall, they did great work and they stand by their job. Will be using Master Drain and Water Works again in the future if the need arises.

I used this service for replacing my main incoming water line and shutoff valves. Vitale and his team were very professional, punctual and efficient. Very friendly people. The problem was that the cover of an outdoor clean-out pipe had deteriorated and fell down the drain.
A technician scoped, and snaked, the drain and replaced the cover assembly.
The job was completely quickly and efficiently--and at a reasonable price.

I called various plumbers because my tenants had a blocked tub drain ...the kitchen water was bubbling up into the tub too, and with an infant, they needed it fixed asap. Everyone was booked ! But Vitaliy at Master Drain really understood my situation and said they would try their best to squeeze me in same day...and they did !!! I hired Master Drain and Water Works to install a french drain to manage the water coming out of my sump line. They were able to attend to the job promptly, provided a thorough explanation of the work that they were going to perform, and completed the job efficiently and professionally, giving me the opportunity to inspect their work and ask any questions at every step of the way. Their solution has also been very effective, as I almost immediately noticed that my sump pump has been less active with water now draining away from the foundation. We purchased a 100 year old house 6 months ago knowing it had been neglected and required many repairs and upgrades. We have used HomeStars tradespeople where possible and have been very satisfied. Vitaliy responded to us immediately and carried out the work of replacing our 1/2" lead pipe with a 1" copper one joining it to the City's existing 1/2" lead pipe... and we have made application under the City lead pipe replacement program to have their pipe replaced with a 1" copper pipe, which is a free service. Vitaliy's crew excavated in our basement and in our garden and then performed a torpedo procedure to replace the lead pipe. The job took one day, the crew were efficient, and cleaned up carefully.. they did a great job.

Vitali and his technician were so fast to come to our home. They identified the problems ( blocked sink drain and broken cast iron main stack). They did the complete job next day
( which included re-cementing the basement floor). The work was done so quickly, fantastic cleanup job and a very fair price! Highly recommend this company!

Our old clay pipes were broken and causing backups inside our home, we called Master Drain & Water Works and they quickly and tidily took care of the problem for us - it was a big job and we were not inconvenienced at all because of their expertise. Removing sections of our driveway, replacing with all brand new pipes, making recommendations on how to troubleshoot for future problems, they were friendly, professional and TIDY. Put everything back the way they found it. Highly highly recommend.

Vitaliy and co. replaced our old lead water main with 1" copper. Quoted the day after I called him. Did the work on-time and professionally. Cleaned up any mess.
